I know they used to offer it on almost all items. Then, they started offering it for orders over $25 or $30 if I remember correctly. Now, I notice they are charging shipping on EVERYTHING! Even if you buy 3 movies, they charge you S&H for all 3... I did a search, and haven't seen this posted anywhere.

"It's been like that for months now unfortunately".

Has it? I thought I remembered buying a $30 game from them not too long ago, and it had free shipping, unless it was a promotion... It was a sega title.

This was kinda cool... on Saturday I ordered a CD from them. Didn't want the shipping so I selected in-store pickup. The next day I got an email saying that the local store was out of stock, and that I had the option of getting FREE ground shipping instead. So that's what I did. Say what you want about Best Buy, but I appreciated that.

Of course we all miss the blanket free shipping they had a year ago, but I'll take what I can get.

Thank you, I will.

Best Buy can suck my balls!

So, this thread makes me wonder when the hell they ever had free shipping (except on those $5 games).

The last time I remember them having free shipping (on games) that wasn't part of some special promtion was before Sep 2004. I made a purchase right at that point and got irked I had to pay for shipping on the item. The last few times I've bitched out BB at the corporate level, I've suggested to them that they need to get their shipping prices in line with their competitors, and mentioned them by name more than once.

CC.com does free shipping on $25 or more in purchases.

Unless BB.com has it for such a good price that the shipping charges become moot, I only do stuff from BB.com that is in-store pickup-able. Their packaging for boxes sucks, their shipping charges are a joke, and their customer service are a bunch of mindless jerks who'll be first against the wall when the revolution comes.

BB sucks in comparason to any CC i've ever been too.. much better store and service.. (at least in the Provo/Orem B&M ones) so i don't know.. i hadn't really had any experience buying things from them online i stick to Buy.com or Amazon.com or just ebay it..

Well I bought the first 5 season of South Park on DVD today for $95 plus tax. The shipping was like $6 bincks. The total was $106 and some change which is a great deal with or without free shipping. The part that really sucked for me was that I went to the B&M store and they did not have Season 1. If you buy four seasons, you get $20 off. Buy all five and you get $75 off. I wasted a bunch of time going up there when I still ended up having to order online.

Still, free shipping > no free shipping.
