I tried out the magazine deal at Best Buy, for 2 months free trial of Entertainment Weekly. DO NOT DO IT! I cancelled it online AND on the phone, and they still charged me. I've been waiting 2 weeks for a refund, the fee made me go over on my check card balance, so I ended up getting around $100 in overdraft fees, which will be refunded as soon as the refund from Entertainment Weekly goes through. God this kills me. Never gonna subscribe to that magazine again, I had previously planned to continue subscribing. Now I'm probably never gonna buy a non-computer/video game magazines. Ugh! Buyer Beware!

What a pain in the ass. I never do those offers as the hassle of cancelling isn't worth a few free issues of some magazine, IMO. Plus, I always worry this exact problem would come up.
Seriously, its Best Buy. Never expect anything but the worst when you're there.
Best Buy = Bad, No Good, Stay Away. It should set alarms in your head when you hear their name. It does in mine at least.

Looks like I should call to cancel that free 2 months of OPM that EB was offering before they overdraft my account. I just a card today saying that I'll receive them soon, but I bet it's through the same company that Best Buy is doing this.
