Best Buy Online Returns - Any BB Employees or people in the know?

B_Cheap

CAGiversary!
I've ordered a few 3DS systems on bestbuy.com and I also ordered a few from target for holiday gifts. I wanted to return the 3DS systems I bought from bestbuy.com BUT I'm noticing that the online invoice doesn't seem to list the product serial number like the in-store receipts. I don't know which systems came from what store?

I do know I can return the online purchases at my local BB.

Help?

Sounds like you're trying to do a return rebuy using a target system on a BB receipt with a dressed up sob story.

The easy way to tell is by process of eilmination. The Target systems bought at target in-store will have S/N on the receipts. Set those systems aside.

Then match up the BB systems to the remaining invoices.

I bought a PS4 from BB.com and the serial number was printed on the yellow packing slip.

I have bought other items with S/N from BB.com and like you said they don't have the S/N attached to the packing slip. You can try to return something in-store and cross you fingers that the computers don't store the S/N but don't be surprised if they do.

What if I don't have the target receipts either to do the process of elimination? I wonder if I can call BB's customer support and have them check?

So you ordered a "Few" from bestbuy.com and a few from target and you didn't keep receipts for either system?

You won't be able to return ANY to target w/o the receipt because they will certainly be able to tell if it came from Target based on the S/N.

You could get Target to print new receipts if you knew when you purchased the item and had the CC/Debit Card available that you made the purchase with.

I'm not sure if Bestbuy.com keeps a database of S/N for products like this to tell if the item came from them or not (I wouldn't be surprised if they did) but if they do don't be surprised if they deny the return or send the item back if the console didn't originate from them.

How many dozen of Zelda 3Ds systems do you think I could return at a time and rebuy at a lower rate? The kids diagnoised with cancer will be exicted to get these consoles.

Starting to sound like you stole these, somethings up if you bought all those consoles and you "Lost" the receipts for them. I can't see you being able to return any of them without the receipt, they'll probably deny it.

Woah, now you are jumping to mighty conclusions my friend. No reason to hate on a philanropist.

If you were rich enough to be giving these away to kids in need, first I doubt you would care or make a big deal about returning and rebuying to save a few bucks. Second I would think you could spell philanthropist right.
