Hi helpful CAGs,
For my birthday I got the 26" Insignia HDTV
I hooked up my Satellite box to it and noticed it was flashing weird colors
2 weeks ago, we exchanged it. (later found out it was the box, not the tv)
How much longer now until I can return the new tv? I have a 3-year best buy warrenty.
Second, has anyone else had this tv? Should component images look better than they do? A resteraunt down the street has a large samsung hdtv hooked up with cablevision with a component cable and it looks good, slightly grainy.
My Insignia TV looks so bad that it's hard to make out faces on people.
DVDs also look bad via HDMI.
Should I go name brand? Does the 26" 720p toshiba look good?

Buy Buys return policy on TV's is usually 30 days. computers are 14. So you can still return it, get your money back for your BTP if its been less then 14 days and use the credit towards a new television. Insignia and Dynex are crappy Best Buy brands. stay away from them. their only good as computer monitors or for someone like me on a budget for college. hoped i helped...

kinda yeah.
My dad insisted I go for the insignia because it was cheap.
I'm thinking go for a name-brand hdtv like sony or samsung.
Also, Does anyone know if when you put 720p on 1080p tvs if it looks and different than 720p on 720p?

I've seen other hdtvs and they look way better than my insignia. I think it only has like 8 bits or something - don't even want to use sackboy ps3 theme it looks so horrid.

bread's done
