Best Buy Reward Zone Private Shopping Event

So Best Buy is doing one of their RZ Members only shopping event on Sunday. And this is the first time to my knowledge that they are actually doing an event here.

I'm really only interested in the $50 GCs they are giving out throughout the 2 hour event.

Has anyone here gone to one of these? And has anyone actually won a GC? I mean that $50 GC could really help me out with all of the 360 games coming out this fall, but I don't want to stand around the store for 2 hours for nothing.
 
I actually went to one by accident when looking for a movie one day.

They had free food, and if you took a survey you automatically got a $2 gift card. I don't know if its worth sticking around for the drawings, but it is at least worth it to check it out.
 
Yeah, I got the email too for some in my area. It states there are special deals or stuff there. I wonder what kind of deals would be there.
 
I must not spend enough at BB to get the email invites to these things. Then again, if I buy 2-3 movies a year when they're on sale for $3-5 and 1-2 games for $10-30 each, I'm lucky.

You will need the email invite.
 
My brother went to one and won a $25 GC, got a free T-shirt and had free munchies.
Sometimes they are worth the time even if you aren't buying anything.

The ones in ATL just want your RZ card to enter.

I very rarely spend money at BB, in fact can't remember the last time I stepped into a BB, let alone bought something. They sent me one, so I don't think it has to do with how much you spend
 
I got an invite, but the listed stores were all pretty far away, not the local BB that I frequent. It only mentioned something about double or triple pts, nothing about free GC drawings.
 
I was bummed because I never got an email. However, I logged onto the reward zone website tonight to check my certs' and there was the invite offer to print for me and a guest. BAH!
