Best Buy Shorted my order but charged me

I ordered some DVDS from bestbuy when they had their sale recently. I received the package and was short 2 DVDS. I tried calling their 800 number , but all I can do is verify that he order was shipped, which it was, but it did not have everything that I paid for. I tried to reach a live person , but to no avail.

So I sent them an email. It is frustrating when you cannot reach a live person, especially with a company as large as best buy.

If anyone thinks of a better way to handle this please let me know

call 1888bestbuy and push 3 4 2 it will get you to a real person
 
why are you unable to reach a live person? Live customer support closed right now?

I ordered something from them awhile ago that came trashed pretty badly, and they did not have one instore for an exchange. In addition the item on the online site had risen in price. But In reaching someone live to talk to, to have the problem fixed.

If its given you some options, that are only electronic, try business hours. If you have already done that, then try looking for a few other options even just an bestbuy operator and then get transferred.

they suck

eventhough they did not send out all the items. they say I have to wait 15 days to file a complaint for lost items. How are the items lost when they never shipped. The rep refused to let me talk to a supervisor.
 
they refused to let u talk to a supervisor? REFUSED??? thats f'd up....

i would call back, see if u have better luck with someone else
 
Uh, are you sure they didn't accidentally ship them separately? How do you know they didn't? I've never ordered more than one item from BB.com at a time, but I know EB will ship two games in the same order two different ways (terribly frustrating when one is USPS and the other is Fedex).
 
there is no other tracking numbers associated with the order. So according to their website and the packing slip I received in the package it was one shipment of everything. I emailed them directly to see if I can get some help, otherwise I will file a complaint with my credit card company
 
This happened to me once before. I ordered the El Mariachi Trilogy and they only sent me two of the movies. I had to wait 15 or 30 days or whatever to file a complaint. They eventually sent the missing DVD, but what a pain in the ass. Bestbuy are a bunck of fvckhats some days.
 
credit card company will probably want you to wait at least 30 days to file a complaint of this nature, so your 15day BestBuy wait will be over long before then..
 
IDK if you want to do this, but if you dont get resolution from BB.com, call their corporate office. I had a similar situation w/them once, and decided to call corporate - they resolved the issue the same day.
 
or call back and ask for the Sup. again and when refused get the reps name and tell 'em that you are calling your states Attorney General. If it was mailed also threaten to call the Postal Inspectors too, it falls under postal fraud since you didn't get all you ordered.
 
El Mariachi is a trilogy? I've seen the half of the first one like three times on movie channels...I should check that out.

the 888 best buy line the people will Hang up on you if you ask to talk to a supvisor. they DO NOT have to allow you to talk to anyone. I called them and complain a few times with my PC and everytime i asked to talk to someone higher up they said WE DONT HAVE TO DO ANYTHING and hung up.
