Best deal on 2gb Micro SD?
Well i'm going to be using it in a DS Flash Cart so i want it to be of decent quality... i don't know anything about the Coby brand.
Quality brand names mean nothing though they're usually a safer bet. Each back up device has different levels of compatibility with different brands and where the actual memory stick was manufactured.

You should google a compatibility list with whatever device you have.

office depot had a 1 gb free after mail in rebates... let me see if i can get the link... deal ends the 28th i think... none of my local stores had it in stock. you order online and print the rebates online and then pickup in store i beleive... I might check to see if they restocked. but yeah let me find the link.....

ok... these should work but i can't test the links from this location because of surf controls at my school... and it's too much effort for me to setup a proxy bipass or use a internet proxy. but yeah here you go

Rebate #2 ($11 exp 4/28)

good luck... i wasn't able to get mine but like i said i might check again later today or tomorrow to see if any more got shipped but they are probably clearancing them out so i doubt it. Dane-Elec not a big name but for free it's worth a shot.

Seriously, you'll do fine with 1G for the DS... The kingston and US Modular brand i used are fine for your purpose, both 1G. The coolest thing is the Subway map, it's a bit sad to see the DS to used as a Subway guide :(

Why not try two one gigs?

I mean, you can use GCO (Two different purchases) to get this memory stick at .99 cents+ .21 cent shipping.

Just make two GCO accounts and buy them seperatly.

But, if you want a 2 gig specifically, I don't know of any good deals.

EDIT: Correction. Sorry, they won't ship anything under 6.95. So, just buy both in one purchase and get it for around 11, or just buy the previously stated coby 2gig

Yeah i bought the transcend 2gb card for $32 from amazon... specifically because the compatibility list says it doesnt have any problems with castlevania (and hopefully other games)

Just this morning i see that buy.com is listing a 2gb kingston for 20 bucks after mail in rebate, with a GCO making it 10 bucks... but i already bought my card so oh well.

I went from having 15 games on my 1gb to 31 games on my 2gb (including bigger titles like FF3 and Lunar Knights)

Now i'm probably going to use my 1gb card for movies and emulators...

:)
