Best deal on a new or used Xbox controller? 1st or 3rd party does not matter.

Like the topic says... the only part that really matters to me is that it works and won't break down from normal use.

Check RadioShack. I'm not sure on the brand/model, but my friend picked up two 3rd party controllers there for $5 each. I haven't seen them in stock since he bought those, though. They were the last ones.

EDIT:At RadioShack.

Thanks for the responses, guys, but I decided to go with the $8.99 pack from Best Buy (Halo 2 bundle preorder pack) since I needed to order an Xbox link cable from there ($13.50 on sale) too.

An 'Xbox Link Cable' is just a standard cross-over Cat5 Ethernet Cable. You can get one for way less than $13.50, but then again, if you've already ordered it, I suppose that this was pointless...

You can still return it at any Best Buy.

I don't know exactly what the Cat5 part means, but I actually need a standard crossover cable to link my 2 Gamecubes together. When I searched "crossover" on BB's site, I only got 1 $21.99 cablr. There is a $4.99 one at EB's site, but EB's site is not letting me login to order anything.

Hey, when you get the HALO 2 thing, can you tell me if any of those coupons are still good? I was considering buying it a while ago since it is $9, but I wanted to know if the coupons are worth it and not expired.

Sure, although I think I read somewhere that they expired in April (That's why the bundle is so cheap now). I'll keep you posted, though.

how is the controller that comes with the halo pack? I already have 3 first party controllers and I am planning to get a 4th, but dont really want to spend 25-30 for a 1st party one.
