Best deal on FFXI Chains of Promathia

It should be on some kind of clearance at Circuit City. Not sure of the price. If you see it there ask them to ring it up for you.

Is FFXI worth getting into, or is it going to die soon? As in, will Sony abandon it once the focus shifts to PS3?

Either way still a year or so of enjoyment definitley worth 35 bucks.

I was just at CC too thats where I got the HD.

Ill prolly go back.

The game is fun with a lot of hardcore players and such. And I believe Square is running it so as long as they see their $13 a month the servers should be up for awhile.

I don't really think Sony's running the servers, I figured that was Square Enix. Since it's running on two platforms, it'll probably last for awhile.

However, Chains of Promathia is $19.99 at both Circuit City and EB from what I've seen.

Shit, I wrote the wrong name. I meant Square.
boo to pay monthly games =), is there an upside to playing with ur ps2 rather than ur pc?
They are the same game. They play on the same sever. Now you can get it for around the same price or cheaper as the PC version. Plus you know your PS2 will play it. No benchmark required. :D
if the ps3 have an hdd do you think well be able 2 play ffxi on it?
Ya, may be I dunno we have 2 wait and c.
Saw it at Best Buy a few days ago... cant remember if it was 14.99 or 19.99.
