Best DS coop/multiplayer titles? gaming with the gf

Hey, the gf and I love our DS lites but need games to play together. I figured CAGs would offer wonderful suggestions beyond just Mario Kart. Thanks guys. Lemme know if I will need 1 or 2 carts.

Pokémon could be fun for multiplayer, but it takes some time investment for both parties involved. There's a multiplayer mode on New Super Mario Bros. DS which is sorta fun, but it gets old fast. I've also played Kirby Super Star Ultra on multiplayer with my girlfriend, but its also a bit limited (you have to use the 1Ps screen to see whats going on.) Advance Wars could be fun to pass back and forth, but its intense strategy, and girlfriends might not like that.

After all that, I'd say Mario Kart is still the best. It's a blast!

The multiplayer in both of the Zelda DS games is a lot of fun. Clubhouse Games is also pretty fantastic.

My SO and I really like word and puzzle games so we've logged a lot of time in Wordjong, Bookworm, and Tetris DS.

All of these support single-cart play, too, IIRC.

Mario Party, the DS game is GREAT, including how you only have to have one copy of the game.
