I never really used my psp for video and now I want to give it a go...so what is the best free psp video converter? I know a lot of people have mentioned PSP9 but is that still the best? I'm looking to convert mainly .mpg, .avi, and . wmv. Thanks in advance.

Well, I've only used PSP video 9, so I can only recommend that.

great...i just downloaded psp video 9 and something from microsoft to allow it to work and then i find out it doesn't support the newer firmwares on the new psp (goes up to 3.5)

PSP Video 9 is nice for 480x272 video encoding, but I haven't used it tfor a long while and thought something else had come along...ah, well.

Is there a PSP9-esque converter but for the Mac? All I found googling a little were a couple of outdated shareware products that aren't updated anymore.

Pretty annoying to hear that the new versions don't work with 3.5+, although I'm not super concerned because I'm still using 3.4. I'll definitely want to upgrade when they crack the PS3 remote power on/off firmware, though.

Is the latest PSP Video 9 still stuffed with FREE IPOD SHUFFLE talking banners?

Edit: Oh yeah, almost forgot: I definitely recommend PSP Video 9, and I have an older, ad-free version if you want. My only issue is that I can't get the audio in WMVs to sync right.
