Best HDTV for 360

Hey if this is in the wrong section please redirect me, I'm new here. But I don't really see another fitting place other than here.

Well I'm currently looking into buying a HDTV specifically for my 360 and my laptop. I'll be using it in my room on my desk, so my size is limited to a 32". And my price range is to about $600, I could afford higher, but I don't feel like shelling out $1,000. Currently there's 2 I am looking at, possibly 3.

Here they are, being compared:

Any help and suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Why are you even considering the one on the left, when the one in the middle is a model above it AND cheaper?
Maybe it's the rating? The new model could have some flaw that the older one doesn't.

Also, I'd go with the LG.

You'd pay $80 more for the LG? I dunno... Samsung is a huge name in LCDs. LG is quality stuff, but I'm not sure it's any better than a Sammy. With the price difference, it's especially hard to justify the LG.

I'd vote the Samsung 330. My grandma actually just called me over yesterday to help her set up a new TV she bought, and that's the model she got. Looked great straight out of the box. She called me today to tell me how much she loves it.

Just another 2 cents.

I've had a Samsung and an LG. Samsung.

out of those 3, the LG. the a330 models of samsung are the cheap models. the LG on the right is brighter and has a higher contrast ratio.

Don't ever go by contrast ratio. Every company has there own way of measuring it, so it's never a fair comparison, unless you're comparing TVs from the same company.

I would go with 1080p minimum keep in mind the 360 is pretty old now and the Next Gen systems are already being planned. which will all be Native 1080p.

The LG looks better because of the 500cdm/2. You just get better picture quality.
I am currently considering this Samsung 32": http://www.amazon.com/Samsung-LN32A...1?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1235861106&sr=8-1

It is the 450 model, which was the higher end one to the 330 in 2008. Also, from Amazon, so no tax and free shipping. $545 BTW.
Oooo, that's a nice one. I am now currently considering it too. Ad it's $100 cheaper on Amazon. I could go to Best Buy to see it and then buy it off Amazon, lol.

Al thought I started thinking, I feel 32" might be too big. My desk's dimensions are 37-1/2" by 18-1/2". And I know the TV is measured across the screen from top corner to bottom, but I feel it might be too big.

And yes, I did here 1080i is the only way to go with gaming, since we have a tendency to sit closer to the screen.

Go with that linked Amazon one unless you find it cheaper else where.
I have a Plasma and prefer that for overall gaming, but with a HDMI cable with the LCD you should't notice much if any gaming lag.
