My 360 (my second one, already received a refurb from MS a year ago) recently died, and I shipped it off to be repaired. In the meantime, I decided to just buy a new Arcade unit and put my hard drive on there. With my fiancee's employee discount, I get it for about $185 after taxes. I figured I could make a decent amount back on the refurb console and not really have spent too much on "upgrading" to the newer hardware. Felt like a stupid move spending money to buy a console I already have, but here's to hoping this one has a long life.
Anyway, now, I want to unload the console and the AC adapter. I wanted to take advantage of the deal GameStop recently had, where you got a bonus $20 on hardware trade-ins, but that deal ended Sunday, and I got the system tomorrow. Just missed it. The base is $80, so $100 didn't seem too bad, seeing I would avoid the hassle of dealing with auctions or idiots on Craiglists. But $80 for the unit, power brick, and controller has me hesitant, considering I'd probably eventually go out and buy a second controller again.
So, what route do you think I should go to unload just the console and the AC adapter? I am guessing Craigslist, seeing as I can save on fees and shipping. What do you think a fair asking price would be?
