This month's Maxim names Ian Holm in Alien as the best evil robot performance, which I'm shocked to see ahead of Rutger Hauer in Blade Runner. Shocked! Last night I saw Brent Spiner at his finest as Data in The Most Toys, and wanted to see if he could dominate this poll.

Brent Spiner as Data and Lore. You forgot LORE. Holy crap that was one evil robot. I mean at least The Borg were just a giant collective programming glitch. Lore had this almost perfect hatred of all things humanoid and did more damage than most of that list combined.
That dude from Cyborg was a pretty evil robot.

(assuming cyborgs = robots)
Robocop is cyborg so cyborgs are ok, as long as they don't act completely like a human.

He sucks as Lore and you know it.

He acted like Pontius Pilate. :whee:

There are some good choices up there but I'd narrow it down to the first two, and then probably give it to Brent Spiner.

I went with Hauer but I can see people making the case for Ash from Alien. Holm did a really good understated but complete douche bag android

I can't choose! Several of them are my childhood icons thanks to the magic of syndicated TV. At least they are robots played by humans in live-action media.

Arnold Schwarzenegger, doesn't even need to try. I think he may actually be a robot in real life. I've also heard complaints about his voice as the Terminator but I beg to differ, it's perfect IMO.

Johnny 5, the robot from The Black Hole, and Alan Rickman in HHGTTG were my last 3 out, followed by Cameron from the Sarah Connor Chronicles.
