I've decided to pick up a DSi but I would like to know which retailer ships consoles in the best condition.

Newegg, Target, Best Buy and Gamestop all have it in stock. My gut tells me Newegg will use the most secure packaging to ship it.

What do you think?

I honestly don't get what you're worried about. It's a Nintendo handled, already packaged securely. Even if shipped in a bubble mailer, it'll probably reach you in perfect shape. If it arrives damaged, the store will have to replace it.

Do you want the system box to be in pristine condition or something? Then you should go buy from a B&M retailer and inspect the actual item since most stock online retailers have are prone to heavy shelf wear...

Agreed. Nintendo console prices are nearly the same everywhere you go. Just go to the store and buy it, don't worry about buying it online unless you want used.

Unless you want to save on sales tax, buy one in store. But Newegg has packaged their consoles the best from my experience. Best Buy and Amazon package them meh.
