Who are "they"? Is it the new I, Robot CE, or the original release? I think some Blockbusters are still doing $5 minimum (not sure), but it is, of course, trade credit only. Your best bet may be a local mom&pop operation. Also, if you are willing to go the online route, check www.wherehouse.com for some high trade-in values (but they can be picky). It looks like they give $8.13 for The Village, and $10 for I, Robot original release (cash values would be lower, I believe).

Maybe you can check half.com to see how much other sellers are asking for those DVDs. That'll be a good way of knowing if your asking price of $5-10 is reasonable.

hollywood video is offering $8 per trade in guaranteed..at least according to the coupon i received in the mail

That coupon is good for one trade-in (i.e. one dvd). Plus, he has to have gotten the coupon, which I assumed he would have mentioned.

they i meant by gamestop. my sister is a member for hollywood videos but didnt get any coupons. so im guessing my best bet is hollywood or blockbuster? to sell the dvd 's and get credit, do you have to be a member? thanks

Seriously, try the trade forums. Perhaps also in a dedicated movie site instead of here? Let us know what you come up with.

and will they take credit off if i dont have a case and covers? maybe i will try the forums but they are fullscreens as i know lot of peeps eww fullscreens.what other movie sites are there cause the only movie sites i know is this and dvdtalk.com

I hear secondspin.com give pretty good prices for used dvds. Never tried them myself, but many ppl on animeondvd talk forum did.

I think your best deal would be with FYE or Ebay (or the CAG trade forums) - but if you're hesitant about any of those, www.tradestop.com has all those titles in the five to six dollar range for trade in.
