My subscription runs out next month and nobody's had any real deals. Anyone know a good place or a reputable ebay seller? I really don't want to spend more then 40-50 if I can help it. $40 would be ideal.

Aside from waiting for one of those 16 hour online deals from future shop or best buy (where they have 15% off all accessories) the only other deal I have really found is on the old subcriptions (for the original xbox). Sometimes stores sell these at a discount thinking they don't work with the 360 (but they do). Close to the beginning of this year rogers video did that and I got a few 12 month subscriptions for 10 bucks each (there were even rumours that some people got them at other places for 99 cents each).

You got a few? Feel like selling me one at all?

As Imcrazy said... trying to find old xbox live subscription is probably your best bet at finding the cheapest price.

Another alternative that's a pretty good deal is getting the Xbox 360 Live Vision Cam Gold Package at Factory Direct (if there's one close to you). They have a New package up for $49.99 which includes:

Gold Pack Includes:
-Xbox Live Vision Camera
-Xbox 360 Headset
-Xbox Live Arcade games UNO, Totemball, Robotron 2084 (available for download from Xbox Live Marketplace)
-Twelve-month Xbox Live subscription
-200 Marketplace Points

Not a bad price considering what your getting. I'm in Ottawa and unfortunately, they don't have any in stock here (my subscription is ending in March, so i need to find a good deal too).

Good luck and let me know if you find anything.

What's the most likely place to have one of the older xbox subscriptions from? I haven't seen one of those in ages, so I'm wondering where the best place would be too look for one?

If you know someone who lives near Factory Direct, you could ask them to pick up the Vision Cam set and PM/Email/IM you the codes and they can keep the vision cam =P

Was thinking about it. I'm going to call my local FD today or tomorrow. Wonder if I can get FS/BB to pricematch.

mine died about about a week ago. I'm waiting for the next time I feel the urge to play online to bust out my card from the factorydirect mega sale on them waaaaaaay back when

People talking about the FactoryDirect deal, just go to the site and go the the link for the camera that's the "click for printable selection" here:

I brought this page to BestBuy and picked up two of these for $45 after PM (one for me and one for my brother). Then I decided to get my other brother one a week later (couple days before Xmas) and the girl rang it up, except this time added $10 for shipping (which is lame, I know), but it still came to about $50.

So, if you feel lucky, try PMing at a BestBuy or FutureShop. Remember if they say it's refurbed, it clearly says it's new, retail boxed, and that it comes with a 90 day warranty.

Good luck!
The cards won't work with addresses outside the U.S.
You sure? I used a Canadian 1 year subscription with my console registered in the US.
Both my XBL Gold subscriptions have come from the US.
Same, well, I've only got one 12 + 1 code from a US online store I used to buy EVE gametime from. $50.

Unfortunately any extras I found were given to friends. I don't have any left, sorry.

Well, just thought i'd post this. I went to Walmart and got them to price match the Gold Cam Package @ $49.99 using the printout listed earlier on this thread. It worked. I think this will only work if you live in a city with a Factorydirect but it's worth a try anyways. Good luck!

I have the camera already....but I might have to do that! That would be sweet!

Well I stumbled across buy.com selling the 12+1 card for 42.99. Used google checkout for 10 bucks off, 32.99 US shipped to my buddy in Indiana. He'll just email me the code. Membership cards aren't region locked like MS points cards.

Any luck on getting that price matched anywhere in Ottawa, Kekumba? I've been trying at a lot of places, and it's always a no go.

What sucks is that it often depends on who's working at the time, because each store within the same chain gives me a different reason and policy on why they can't do it, meaning they can't all be following the same one.

What Wal-Mart did it for you, wingy17?
