Try ebgames.com, they usually have a fairly decent price on the used ps2 network adapter, and id stick with that one. I always have problems with 3rd party anythings except logictech and madcatz. The network adapter is a must especially if you own either monster hunter or socom 2.

K.B. Toys has them on clearance (if you can find one in stock. . .). You might want to try your luck at the local B&M store. I don't think the deal is online.

If you have a Fry's Electronics anywhere near you, you can usually find the adapter brand new for $19.99. Though mind you, Fry's carries the OEM version of the official Sony Brand Network Adapter which comes in a plain white box. It's not missing anything, the packaging is just different that's all.
