Best PSP protector, not necessarily cheapest.

Hey guys, this is a concern from my brother since he has a PSP.

As all of you PSP owners know, it is a very beautiful looking machine. But I'm sure all of you also know that no matter how much you wash your hands, the PSP is a fingerprint/grime magnet, not just on the screen but EVERYWHERE!

So, he wants to me me to find the best protection for the whole system (since he only has a BB where he lives)...

He doesn't want a case, he wants a transparent cover. Something like the screen protectors for GBA/DS/PSP except he wants one that will cover the whole system (can cover the buttons, or not- that doesn't matter) from scratches, smudges, etc.

Can anyone recommend something? Price isn't an issue... as long as it's not insanely expensive.
 
saran wrap? The only thing I've seen that covers the whole system are these butt-ugly plastic covers that come in various colors of the rainbow.
 
the pelican one is the one i'm assuming you're calling 'butt-ugly'? lol

heh, well it's probably the best one, dispite it's freaky colors. I got it so i'd have something to cover it up and needed a screen guard (the pelican one is a little nicer and much easier to put on then the plasticy mad catz ones). and the rubber grippiness of it is pretty good for anti-sweat control. not the most attractive thing ever, I took mine back off and decided to deal with finger smudges on the surface of the machine, at least in public, but if i'm sitting at home or playing for awhile it feels good. I did however, in my, um, fervor to get the packaging open, kind of, cut it a bit by one corner...doesn't seem to make any difference on the fit anyway, tho. :lol:

of course, you could always wait for the logitech one too. =P

This is the one I bought and it looks grteat and covers about 75% of the front of the psp. It has a anti-glare coating so you won't get the mirror reflection.
They are a little expensive especially shipping but to me it was worth it.

Thanks man, that looks like it's the best bet... Pricy but what else can he do.

I wish Sony made the system with some anti-smudge material on the outside becaues playing a smudged up PSP would be more embarassing than playing a GB in public.
