looking for ideas on the best way to sell off my collection. I have over 600 games, mostly ps2/ps3. I did respond to a Craigslist post in my area for buying games, but was low balled imo. Had a nes with 43 games, three of which complete and a snes with 20 games for 200..

Only thing about ebaying I probably couldn't ship on Saturdays.

any suggestions?

I am always interested in genesis games and certain NES games.

Like the above users suggested, make a list and post it here. Worst that can happen is you lose a little time because of it.

craigslist is gonna get you the lowball offers IMO. Check out gamedude their site has prices listed for all games you would trade in.

For the PS3 stuff and possibly some of the PS2, you may want to look into Best Buy. Some of the titles bring in more than you can get off ebay/amazon after the 30%-50% bonuses they run. Plus, you can flip their credit into $25 or $50 Amazon gift cards that should be around the Kindle section.

I would definitely also suggest listing it all here for one firm price shipped for everything. I sold a collection of only PS2/Xbox games here about four years ago for around $550 shipped.

Yes. You will get a LOT of lowball offers and offers from people just wanting to cherry pick out the harder to find/ "rare" stuff from you. But that's to be expected. Just stand your ground and you should eventually find someone who is willing to buy everything to get an instant collection.

Thing is, you will definitely have to put up a comprehensive list of everything(including condition and how complete they are) and/or you should put up some pictures showing what you have. That was not possible for me, since that's the one deal I have yet to buy(digital camera).

But you should definitely have no problems selling the collection here. It may just take a(long) while to do so. But just be persistent and be firm that you're not willing to break everything up and you should get a buyer.
