Not only does it take them over a week to send out a new release DVD, but they fucking suck at customer service too. My mother lost her credit card that I preordered the Seinfeld Gift Set on from BestBuy.com. I had originally preordered it at Amazon, but BB had a better deal. My mother tried to call BB's customer service number, but it was fucking useless and only said my order would be shipping whenever the hell the release date for Seinfeld is. So I decided to email them. As a side note, I also preordered the Growlanser Generations Deluxe Set from shop.mtv.com when they had that huge sale. So anyway, I emailed both MTV and BB last night with the situation, and gave them another credit card's info so that they could change my order accordingly.

I open the email from MTV. They changed my order promptly, and checking the order on their website, they didn't lie about changing it. +10 to them.

I open the email from Best Buy. I get this tripe, that not only does not HELP ME AT ALL, but also avoids the entire fucking question:

Guess what, jackass? I ALREADY CALLED YOUR WORTHLESS NUMBER. AND IT DID NOT HELP ME AT ALL. THAT'S WHY I DECIDED TO EMAIL YOU.

Needless to say, I won't be ordering jack shit from Best Buy's site anymore, and I am giving my business to Amazon for the Seinfeld Gift Set; I would give it to MTV but their price is like $12 more than Amazon's.

EDIT: I give permission to anyone who wants to post the Best Buy PWNED gif.

Best Buy's customer service sucks from my experience. Everything from them is a form letter.

I agree with the good marks for MTV. I got the Halo SE from them when they had that sale (I think I got it for around 37, but I can't remember). Anyway, got it in the mail yesterday ... on the release date no less.

Yeah, I got Marmalade Boy Box Set volume 2 from them with free shipping on the day of release as well, FOR $55 OFF MSRP because of the sale. They have good everyday prices, too; just ordered another box set from them.

I wanted to switch credit cards for my Seinfeld order as well since my visa was getting cash back and my mastercard wasn't. All I did was e-mail customer service and requested that they cancel my order (for the reason stated above). They processed my request and I ordered it again. You really shouldn't e-mail cc info, regardless of the reciepent.

I guess I got lucky and didn't get a retarted CSR?
Sorry to hear about your balls. What happen to them? Did best buy take your balls away?
No, I'm a female.

The problem is, they specifically state that you can email CS to change your CC info. That's what pissed me off. They also stated in an email to ME to call their CS, but that didn't do shit.

Yes, not a good idea to e-mail CC info. That said the e-mail is pretty maddening. 'We suggest you don't send CC information via e-mail, so we are going to ignore tha info from the e-mail you just sent. Thanks for shopping at bestbuy.com!!!'

Sucks that they can't have competent phone CSRs to process this.
I love that they tried to sell you Best Buy gift cards in the email too! Jackassess!!!
That was really the last straw imo. Douchebags.

EDIT: If they had given me REAL instructions on how to go through their BS phone CS, I would not be upset. But they ignored the problem completely, which really pisses me off.

Back when Beyond Good and Evil became 10 bucks. It was sold out at circuit city, so I went to BestBuy because of their so called "price match guarantee." I came and this high school drop out employee tells me that Best Buy only price matches its own merchandise. Opposed to having the same item for different prices in different ailes? I argue with the ass job for a couple of minutes, asking how you can price match your own stuff. He says that in some stores, they have same items, but different prices and different ailes. He said Im the one that misunderstood the commercial. HOW THE fuck DO YOU PRICE MATCH YOUR OWN PRICES??????? I wouldn't have gotten so angry if he wasn't such an asshole just because I asked if I mould get it for 10 bucks. He said that some other guy did the same thing that day, but got away with it.

 That might be the stupidest thing I have ever heard. Does the guy still work there?

I know it's the stupidest thing I've ever heard. The main BB by me has a huge (must be like 10' high) sign on the wall with all of their customer service policies on it. As this is a newer-built store, his might not have such obvious signage on it. That conversation for me would've been real easy:

BB Drone: blah blah blah Match only our own prices blah blah blah

Me: Did you see that huge sign by customer service that spells out your PM policy? Larger than you are? Might be worth looking at, to see if either you're stupid, illiterate or both. Though, just so you know, they can fix illiteracy. Stupid is permanent.

Very decent of them to PM their own prices. I think at Target they just make up a price and won't match what the register says.

I had a guy at Best Buy decide that the $5 off XBL software coupon was for 'software only, like joysticks and stuff, right?'

Does anyone else think that BB should start IQ testing their employees? WTF, "software only, like joysticks and stuff"? Damn.

I bought a PS2 standard Sony-brand controller at BB B&M when they were having a sale one week. The dolt at the register asks me, "Would you like to purchase a warranty for your remote?"
"Would you like to purchase a warranty for your remote?"
Rule #1 of being a Circuit City/CompUSA/BestBuy sales clerk is to ask for the customer for a warranty. Warranties is the biggest cash cow for them.

I know that, but at least the guy could have the fucking courtesy to not call it a remote, it is a CONTROLLER, as stated on the PACKAGE. This wasn't an old guy either, it was someone in their younger 20s who should have known better.
