bestbuy.com holding charges for cancelled items?

so I ordered a Blu-ray, cancelled the item before it was even processed for in store pick up, my bank account is stilling showing the charge amount, anyone else get this? It has been about a week now

It can take about a week for the authorization to drop off, unfortunately.

The only real solution is to use a credit card instead of a debit card for purchases like that.

I used a credit card, not debit

Sorry, I assumed that when you said your bank account was still showing the charge that you had used a debit card.

Is it showing a charge against your available credit, or is it just showing as an authorization?
