I shake my head in disgust over the release of SuperBabies 2. Why made a sequel? Why?
Good question. We may never know the answer.
Tenzor, since you posted the DVD deals for the week is their any games on sale that you could post?
sorry I dont get the ads early, I just saw this on a dvdtalk fourm, so I decided to post it here. I'm sure Wario64 or someone else will post the games tomorrow
I never even heard of superbabies 1 , how bad is it?
stop.....its too painful to bring the memories back.........
Those movies packaged with Harold and Kumar are terrible, but must certainly be worth 2 bucks.

Thanks for the post tenzor
What!?!?!?! Cheech movies are great!!

Thanks tenzor!

Is Harold and Kumar worth $18? (I didn't see it)
Holy crap the life of David Gale for $5.77
Is that online too? The nearest CC is over an hour away, so over two hours roundtrip, and that kind of kills the $5.77 price.
BB has DVD Gift Card with $2 off any combined movies $14.99&up, think it would work on Troy 2 for $25 deal?
What does the DVD card do? is it buy 2 movies with a total over $15 and get $2 off? Would it work on the 2 for $20 deal at BB for White Castle?

The movie was funny as hell but damn I was hoping for $15 or so. I think I will get it anyways

what is everyone going to get?

I am picking up

BESTBUY
-Troy by itself, or 2 for 25 (not sure what other movie I want though) Any comments on full metal jacket? or Master and Commander? I already own the other movies or have no interest in watching them.

-I might just rent Harold and Kumar, but the 2 for 20 deal with Cheech & Chong is kind of tempting. I haven't seen the movie, but it might just be a comedy i will just watch once and never again. So I am not sure if its worth getting.

-The 3 for 20 deal is going to be good also. I missed out on the CC $5 dvd deal last week. It looks like bestbuy is doing the same deal almost with the dvds except making it 3 for 20. I will prob end up getting Donnie Darko, Entrapment, Boondock Saints & on another 3 get Point Break, Unfaithful and Cast Away or Abyss.

CC
-I will PM for the Life of David Gale at my BB since CC is far from where I live.

TARGET
-Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon sounds good for 7.50

Also anyone have any comments on Millenium and Las Vegas? I never seen those shows but always had interest in getting into them. However I should just wait for another Fox Season 1 Sale on the net that includes Millenium for 15 before I go to season 2.

I don't have one and have only looked at it once, but I think it says $2 off any purchase of 2 movies $14.99 and up. What wasn't clear to me was if both movies have to be $14.99 or more, or if $14.99 can be the combined total.

Let's put it this way...I saw the first one for free back when I was younger. I paid too much for that...um, "experience."

I can't speak on "Las Vegas" but "Millennium" is shaq fuing AWESOME! Season 1 is great - its very dark, most of the episodes are about serial killers and stuff like that but you'll get into it right away. Hard to say but Season 2 is even better - very different than Season 1 as the show goes more into the Millennium Group itself and their agendas.

I get the chills just thinking about all the great episodes of the Season 2 from the opening episode "Beginning Of The End" to the "Owls" and "Roosters" two parter to some of the great stand alone episodes ("Mikado"). We even get to see a reprise of the Jose Chung (Charles Neilson Riley) character from The X-Files on the episode "Jose Chung's Doomsday Defense." The season ender will leave you breathless... literaly. I remember the summer of 1998 discussing with all the people I knew who was into the show about how it ended and where it could possibly go - its that damn good. I won't spoil anything tho, as I don't want to ruin it for anyone who hasn't seen it yet.

Oh, and btw... Season 1 is worth paying $50 for. $15ish is a much better deal but if it never goes on sale for that again I will say outright its worth $50 without hesitation. :D
I was just looking at the BB website, and it looks like Futurama Vol. 1 is $16.49. Does anyone know if that is a sale, or if that is the new price?

Futurama Vol. 1
Best Buy had a half off sale on some FOX DVD box sets this week. I think today's the last day on that.
I was just looking at the BB website, and it looks like Futurama Vol. 1 is $16.49. Does anyone know if that is a sale, or if that is the new price?

Futurama Vol. 1
That is the Fox season 1 sale that is ending today. $14.99 at Amazon, but I'd guess that is about to end also, so hurry.

I picked up Donnie Darko , From Hell (Movie about Jack the Ripper), Tora!Tora!Tora! (Pearl Harbor attack or some sort). Both Donnie Darko and Tora are backordered. They might be sold out so get them fast while supplies last. Decent price for only 25.28 after taxes and shipping. You might have to call in if the discounts don't show up. Happy Cheap Ass New Year.

That Spiderman 1 & 2 "2 for $20" deal is sweet. I thought it was a typo in the ad at first, because it says:

"Spiderman 2: $19.99"
"Spiderman: $14.99"
BUY BOTH FOR 20 BUCKS

So in essence, you get the first movie for a penny extra. I already have the first one, but I think I'll buy them anyways, because I've been meaning to get Spiderman 2 for a while. And I can always trade or give away my extra copy.
"The movie was funny as hell but damn I was hoping for $15 or so. I think I will get it anyways "

Ditto.
Ditto too - Harold & Kumar was freakin hilarious. Definitely worth the extra couple of $$. I ordered it along with Spiderman 1 & 2.

Thanks for the post OP!

Just in case anybody still cares, I took a pen and paper to Target today and wrote down all the $10 DVDs.

Black Hawk Down
The Breakfast Club
Broken Lizard's Club Dread
Daredevil Director's Cut
Dazed and Confused
Dogma
The Cat in the Hat

Drumline
Eurotrip Unrated Version (Widescreen)
Fast Times At Ridgemont High Special Edition
Gangs of New York
Groundhog Day
Honey (Full Screen)
Hulk (Full Screen)
Intolerable Cruelty (Full Screen)
The Missing - Single Disc Version
The Rundown (Full Screen)
Saving Private Ryan 60th Anniversary D-Day Edition
Sense and Sensibility
The Simple Life 2: Road Trip
Sixteen Candles
Spirit Stall - Ion of Cimaron (no idea what this movie is, but it was in the $10 DVD rack)
Steel Magnolias
Stuck on You (Full Screen)
Super Troopers
Sweet Home Alabama
Tears of the Sun
Thirteen
Whale Rider Special Edition
X-Men 1.5

Even though some of the signs said fullscreen, I think you MIGHT be able to buy the widescreen version of the movie for $10, but YMMV.

thanks for the post. i'd be tempted if black hawk down, gangs of new york and saving private ryan were about $7, and if daredevil was $5. i doubt they'll go that low any time soon, but i'm in no rush.

anyone see honey? yes, i'm asking just cause it's jessica alba. i don't know anything else about the movie.

It looks pretty wretched. I'm not sure I can put up with that much just to watch her. OTOH The Sleeping Dictionary will be mine someday!
