Big NES/SNES RPG/strategy find (lots of pics)

I stopped by one used book store today and came out with all this Nintendo RPG/Strategy goodness:

All of these are complete, and some even have the original owner's game notes written on note book paper. Some also have original reciepts. Some of these NES games were $60.00!!

Yep -- classic games were expensive back in the day. They weren't always 2-for-$5 at GameCrazy.

So, you left out the important detail -- how much and where? Congrats on the find!

Sorry, many were $4.98, some more. All said, I actually paid around $90.00. Not very CAG of me, but I couldn't resist. I could gain more than that back if I wanted, but I'm a gamer, not a merchant.

And they were at a Half Price Books.

Grrr... My nearest HPB doesn't carry games... or if they do they hide them VERY well... I guess I could ask.
That's an awesome find though, I remember renting quite a few of those back in the day.

Christ, you could get close to 100 bucks each for the complete Nubunaga 2 and Uncharted Waters for NES alone. Good deal

It's a normal visit whenever I'm in that part of town. There's a HPB closer to me that I frequent much more...um, frequently.
