Big smooch to GameCrazy!

I went for the big sale, thinking things would be picked over. For N64, I got Super Mario, Mario Golf, Mario Tennis, Super Party 2 & 3, plus Parasite Eve II to round things out. Hee hee hee.

And, I will say the guy was infinitely patient searching for things and helping other customers, given he was the only one in the store on a Sunday.

Very nice, Im glad you succeed, I have one gamecrazy in my area and I dont go mainly because the first and last time I went I asked the clerk to look for a game (seperation anxiety for snes) and he said Im busy dont ask me to look for ridiculous titles...so I left never to return again :).

It almost feels wrong to get such great games for so cheap, doesn't it? Almost like you're stealing from them or something.

yeah, kinda. until i asked what happens to the ones they don't sell and they said "they'll make us dispose of them."

yea that was one nice things is that the workers looked for games not out on the floor. I mean they could just saw "if its not in the case we dont have it"

now for the 1 bad thing about. Its too easy to keep buying the game and spending too much money. I went in looking for maybe 10 games top and as of sunday walked away with 33 games

Anyone know how they dispose of them? If they just throw them away, I'm dumster diving behind my gamecrazy the night after the sale ends.

yeah, if its a field destroy its pretty much in the trash but they might send it back to HQ. judging by the sale and its motives to make way for new systems im bettiing my money on the first guess.

Ok, so I went back today to another store and scored more Mario wonderfulness. And yes, it does feel like I'm stealing from them.

I especially liked when the clerk said "You're getting a good deal because these two still list at $24.99." Well, gosh, my little old girly self is so happy you told me that, because you know, us girls are just nitwits about games! Ok, I said it in my head and out loud I just said "well, that's why I'm here."

Yaeh I felt that way one time. I also kind of felt bad when I picked up a bunch of RPGs that I know that my friend who works at the store wanted. Oh well, were still friends so it's all good.

Oh yaeh, at nearly every Gamecrazy I've gone to, the employees have been great and extremely nice when I ask for them to check for certain games. Sometimes they'll just print me out a list and then go one by one with me through the list for the games that I want. It's great, I've never had such service at a GC. I hope that that isn't true that they're going to "dispose" of them after the sale. I haven't heard of that yet. I know that on the first day when I went to the GC my friend works at the, one of the way higher ups came in for a surprise inspection and I asked why they were doing the sale and what they would do after the sale and she replied to me that they were going to try and sell as many as they could to make room for the newer systems and clear shelf space. She never said anything about disposing of the ones that are left after the sale. The only thing she mentioned was that they were considering to stop taking in older system games like NES and Genesis, but that they hadn't 100% it yet.
