A Highlands Ranch Republican wants to make it a crime to run away from home.
Rep. Ted Harvey today introduced legislation making running away from home for any child 17 and younger a class 2 misdemeanor. House Bill 1123 also allows parents to have the charge dismissed the first time a child is charged.

I usually consider myself kinda in the middle and agreeing/dissaggreeing with both Reps and Dems but its dumb stuff like this that makes me more like 65-35 more twards the Dems.

I also tend to find myself agreeing 65-35, problems is its 35% dems and 65% traitors. At least thats what everyone seems to tell me about the 65%.

Makes sense to me, if you can be sued for a house your 16 year old runaway burned to the ground you might as well have some legal recourse against them.
