Win $1,000 or an iPod each month with Winzy!

This one is as simple as Blingo, only you get 50 searches a day for a combined 100 points plus whatever you might win instantly. And every month, all of your points are counted as raffle tickets in the different drawings they hold.

All you need to do here is search. With a basic membership, you get only 30 searches a day for 30 points, but if you either download the ad-free toolbar or set Winzy to your homepage, your account is automatically upgraded to Gold. Then you get 2 points per search for the 100 point maximum.

It's a lot more interactive than Blingo, and the prizes are relatively the same. The only downside is that you have to wait a month to win the best prizes, whereas on Blingo, you can win something awesome every other day.

[UPDATE = 10/21/10]

FINALLY, A NEW UPDATE! I left the freebie scene for a while to pursue a degree in Computer Science. Now that I have it, along with the student loans that need to be paid off in ten years, I have come to appreciate budgets, and more importantly, getting things for free. Without further ado!

Another searching website that rewards you with cash?

This is probably one of the longest ways to make a few buck out there. It involves searching on the website, and it is totally free. You get 1 search every 5-10 minutes, and each search nets you 1 point. The downside to this is that each point is only worth 1 cent, so even with the 50 point signup bonus, it'll still take you about 37.5 hours of straight searching before you can cash out for $5.

The good news is that you get 1 point for everytime a friend signs up and searches! This can net you up to 100 points per user. So if you are about to get 100 people to register through your link, you have the potential to get $100.

Signing up and searching is simple. Just click the picutre at the top of this section, or go here: http://www.mysearchbonus.com/?p=join&rid=6792fdf901f0b56a2fc899a5eeedafa9

Get free books with PaperBackSwap!

This is a really simple method to get great books at no cost! Unfortunately, I don't think they give you 2 free trade credits for listing 10 books now, but you can still get 1 trade credit per referral. All books cost 1 trade credit (including omnibuses and complete works) and audio CDs cost 2 credits.

Here's what you do:

1. Register through my link (please!): http://www.paperbackswap.com/index.php?n=11&r_by=webadmin%40elitemail.org

2. List 10 books. It shouldn't be too hard. You can list books that aren't in high demand, even.

3. Get someone else to register and do the same.

Pretty simple. I've already received "The Wizard of Earthsea" and "Lemony Snicket's Ominous Omnibus" for absolutely nothing.

Get a free game in 10 minutes!

This is a simple way to get video games for free. It is 100% safe and secure, and I have already done it three times. So far, I have received Tenchu: Wrath of Heaven for PS2, Tall Infinity SEALED (rated 7/10 on the rarity scale) for PS1, and Beyond Good & Evil for the Gamecube.

All you have to do is follow these steps:

1. Register here: http://www.goozex.com/trading/asp/join.asp?idr=4423813731

2. Your account is credited with 100 points and 1 free trade, meaning that you can browse the site and get a game worth 100 points for free.

3. Wait for the game to come, then give positive feedback to the sender. Doing so will give you 100 more points and 1 more trade credit, so you can get another game.

That's it. Seriously, it will take you about ten minutes to do. All you are doing is signing up for free points, then exchanging them with another member for a game. The member gets the 100 points (a $5 value) and you get their game!

All of the games MUST work, so you'll surely get what you asked for.

It's so easy, how can you not want to try it?

Update!

I figured something out for those of you who are having problems trading at Goozex with the 100 points. I'm not saying that you should go about doing it, but it's here just in case. It might be good for someone with multiple homes or someone who lives in a dorm parttime.

1. Sign up for Goozex with your primary address and list a game that is 100 points. You can cancel requests with others, so it doesn't matter if another person wants it.
2a. This is optional, if you don't have a second IP address.
2b. Click on "Start" and "Run." Type in "Command" or "cmd". Vista users can use "Search" to find "Run".
2c. Type "ipconfig /release" just like that, and hit Enter.
2d. Type "exit" and leave the prompt.
2e. Right-click on "Network Places" or "My Network Places" on your desktop.
2f. Click on "Properties".
2g. You should now be on a screen with something titled "Local Area Connection", or something close to that, and, if you have a network hooked up, all of your other networks. Right click on "Local Area Connection" and click "Properties".
2h. Double-click on the "Internet Protocol (TCP/IP)" from the list under the "General" tab.
2i. Click on "Use the following IP address" under the "General" tab.
2j. Create an IP address (It doesn't matter what it is. I just type 1 and 2 until i fill the area up).
2k. Press "Tab" and it should automatically fill in the "Subnet Mask" section with default numbers.
2l. Hit the "Okay" button here, then hit "Okay" again. You should have a new IP address.

3. Sign up for Goozex again with your secondary address (you could alternatively make one up, but beware as that constitutes fraud). It would be cool if you used my referral link, because referrers cannot exchange points with referrees. You can also just go to the main page.

4. With your new account, request the game. Log out, and sometime later, accept the request. Trade it to yourself!

5. Upon "receiving" the game, leave positive feedback. Your first account will have the initial 100 points, plus the 100 points for the game, plus another 100 points for the first positive trade. You should theoretically have 300 points. And I'll get 100/200 points too! ;)

Of course, this is all theoretical. It should work even though it is cheap.

Earn money for reading e-mails through INBOXDOLLARS!

This method is pretty simple, but the downside is that it takes a while to accumulate any profit. The actual procedure will only take a minute out of your day, however.

Here's how it works:

1. Go here: http://www.inboxdollars.com/?r=tonydanza12

2. Register.

3. Check your e-mail. Using Hotmail, I created a rule that automatically sends anything with the subject title of "Paid Email" to my "Paid Email" folder. Just so I don't miss any.

4. Check in daily and "read" your e-mails from InboxDollars and SendEarnings.
I have received a check from them before for $30. I admit that it took a few months to do, but I look at it this way: It takes about 30 seconds to click on my "Paid Email" folder, open the newest message, click on it, then close it. Getting paid $30 to do something so simple WHILE I'm checking my e-mail anyway isn't a bad deal.

Earn money for reading e-mails through SENDEARNINGS!

You can also go to SendEarnings, which works exactly the same, only it gives you a separate payout. The payout is also higher ($40).

Here's the link: http://www.sendearnings.com/?r=teknoblade

Earn money for reading e-mails through TIKTIKCASH!

ReferFriendHead.jpg

TikTikCash works in relatively the same way, only it gives a significantly higher payout. There's no more of that "we'll only credit you with a member referral once that member gets his/her first check" crap here. You automatically get $5 for every friend who signs up, even if they don't use the site often!

The only catch here is that you need to give me the e-mail addres you want to use. I know it's not as simple as the other ones, but it gives you $5 per invite and a $5 sign-up bonus. Theoretically, you only need to refer 19 people to get $100.

If you're interested, PM me with your e-mail address!

Easily earn PayPal money

This is a fairly simple way to get whatever you're interested in for free. Compared to other FAQs I've written, this requires more time to complete, but it also has the widest variety of prizes.

Here's what you do:

1. Go here: http://www.cashlagoon.com/?ref=53339&page=signup

2. Sign up.

3. Complete free offers. The best way to get credited with completing the offers is if you use CCleaner (http://www.ccleaner.com/) to delete your cookies, then use Roboform (http://www.roboform.com/) to fill in each form. Also, it's recommended that you take a picture of the screen after you've completed it (on PCs, this can be done by pressing the "PrtScn" key next to the F12 key at the top and pasting it into Microsoft Paint) for your own records.

THE BEST PART ABOUT CASHLAGOON IS THAT IT OFFERS CUSTOM PRIZES. One point equals one dollar. If you have 250 points and trade it in, you'll get paid $250 through PayPal.

There's a minimum payout of only $2 (2 points) now! You could do ONE offer and get paid! ALL prizes are awarded within 24 hours!

It's an incredibly lenient and easy-to-use site. What are you waiting for? Register and start earning points for incredibly easy money in minutes.

A search site that gives you prizes for using it!

This is a very simple method that you can do without being deterred from your daily activities. I've already received 1 $15 iTunes gift card and 2 Fandango movie tickets, redeemable almost anywhere.

Here's how you do it:

1. Go here: http://www.blingo.com/friends?ref=7mnMGRq0_DJYJ4kaKGH2rChHPGw

2. Sign up and install the toolbar, or simply bookmark the site.

3. Type something in and hit "search". You get 10 entries every day. If you search at the right time, you are rewarded with a prize. There are daily prizes of iPhones, iPods, iTunes gift cards, movie tickets, and PSP's, among other things.

The best part about it is that Blingo gets the same results as Google, only you can win something by using it. The toolbar is exactly the same as Google's toolbar, as well. Why would you want to use Google when you can search AND win with Blingo?

From electronics to games to movies, Points2Shop is where it's at!

Points2Shop is a great place that features prizes from all across the Amazon.com Marketplace. You can either buy things from Amazon directly (1 pt = 1 cent) or you can withdraw money from them in $10 (1000 pt) increments!

Signing people up via either e-mail OR TEXT gains you a rate currently equal to $.50 per person, but who knows, it could go up! Unlike SendEarnings and some of the other sites, however, the person does not need to be active for you to receive the referral bonus. Not only that, but it allows you to withdraw money starting at $5.00 instead of $30.00 or higher.

Just go here to get the newest gadgets directly from Amazon: http://www.points2shop.com/index.php?ref=Blade
Wanna trade referrals? I'm signing up for Blingo and can you sign up for Points2Shop in my siganture? Points2Shop is very similar to Prize Rebel ;)
I would be happy to, Brandon, but the only problem is that Blingo only works if you use it. I don't get anything for referring you, but if you win something, I also win it. And you could either forget to use it (like most of us) or not win anything.

If you could sign up at one of the other sites that'll undoubtedly accredit me with your referral, I will happily sign up under your link at Points2Shop.

Awesome. Please PM me your name/e-mail address once you sign up, and I will do the same! :)

Thanks, Brandon! Trading of referrals completed!

dudedizzle27 I don't know if they'll allow me to sign up again. I was able to get away with it once on Sendearnings, but GamingLagoon seems stricter. But if you have anything else that I'm not already a member of, I'll swap referrals!

Bumped to the top!

Remember, if you sign up, you can PM me and I will give you some sort of compensation. I've been getting e-mails about referrals, but nobody has PM'ed me saying they registered!

Update for ya Blade :D

I got a $5 Gift Card from Blingo!!! So does that mean you get one? It would be nice if you did some more Points2Shop for me? ;)

Oh you did? That's awesome! I'll check my e-mail and then do some offers on Points2Shop. I guess you get something in return for me doing offers on there? :)

Yes, it's for trading your game.

Something new!

Join the Tales Brigade!

It's exactly like the other community-based websites (luv2game, .hack, etc.) wherein you get points for voting on polls, correctly answering questions, and submitting entries into contests. Right now, there's an easy 8,000 points you can make, with prizes starting at around 10,000. All you have to do is complete the 6 things currently available -- which, I'm not kidding, took me about 3 minutes -- and you've almost got a prize.
