This is the advert i just got in my mail (not spam, but a direct mail from the blockbuster rewards program. The quote says it all. If you have a membership, they will be emailing a coupon soon.

I am unsure if they use some sort of program to try to make it one coupon per person. If i am unable to post the coupon here when it arrives, i hope some other member does so.


Based on the way this will work since it is in-store promotion, the brick and mortar storefronts don't have a way of verifying that you have a BB online membership, only that you have a store membership. The coupon should work for any schlub who has it onhand, and has a membership with the store (and maybe not even THAT, since sales don't have to use the member card).

It looks as though you have to be a Blockbuster Online member but you probably can get a member to forward you the e-mail.
 
by being a member of blockbuster online (blockbuster version of netflix), they will email you a coupon to get the 10$ gc when they send them out.

however, i doubt you will actually have to be a member to USE the coupon when it's in your possession. since the real world storefronts have no means of verifying your blockbuster online membership status. ( so far )

That would have made my day. That quote has to be the funniest thing I've heard in a while. And if the blockbuster that the employee worked at was located by me, I would go frequently just so I could catch more gems like this.

Last time there was a coupon for Madden, it was tied to your account....not sure if others used it.

ALSO, they have NOT e-mailed it YET.....BE PATIENT. GIVE IT A WEEK OR TWO.
 
So has anyone seen this coupon yet? I haven't and it's only a little over a week until the game comes out. What's the deal?
 
Nope not yet here...though I did get a coupon for a free pack of popcorn if you buy a 20 oz Coke.... I imagine they will send it out 2-3 days before launch.
