Tonight at my local Blockbuster I saw flyers announcing this upcoming weekend SALE. I was tempted to "hide" one of the only 2 copies of "Napoleon Dynamite" that I saw on the shelf.

Although I'm not certain whether this will go along with their current 2 for $20 deal and make it a 3 for $20 deal -- you may just have to pay the sticker price and get the lowest value DVD for FREE.

Yes, that is how the sell works. You will have to pay the sticker price and cheapest one is free. They don't let you combine offers.
 
you know they wont combine the two offers. if they did, that would be major loss especially for the ones were they have the box sets...
 
I was just there a couple of hours ago. Bought these 3:

Napoleon Dynamite $14.99, it was the only copy I saw but they were still in the process of bringing out more movies.

Troy (2-disc) $12.99, I was surprised to see this one out since it was just released in early Jan. Both discs look practically NEW.

Reno 911 Complete First Season (2-disc) $12.99, I normally don't see alot of TV discs at this store so I grabbed the first copy I saw and my bro watches this on Comedy Central.

I got the lowest priced DVD for FREE. It came to about $30 w/ tax. Not too bad.
 
I got hooked up today even though no box. I got 9 DVDs for a total of 25. At a store on the way back to my home, they had DVDs with no box for 4 dollars a piece. I came away with Along Came Polly, the Rundown, Head of State, Above the Rim, Shanghai Noon, and some others. I think I will hit it again later in the week.

as for the boxes, I know I will come across them :wink:

I want Troy, Napoleon and i dont know......... Hopefully a copy of Gladiator since i lost it and all my other dvds recently. :cry:
 
check out movie gallery if you have one, they have a standard running b2g2 free sale.. even better value, a week or two ago i picked up secret window, spiderman 2 , dodgeball, and the perfect score for a total of 19.99 plus tax... their prices are almost always cheaper than blockbusters as well.. (most new releases are only 9.99)

edit: the movie gallery buy 2 get 2 free preplayed deal also includes games
 
the movie gallery deal ended after valentines i believe. i will visit tomorrow to see if it restarted for president's day but i highly doubt it
