Blu Ray Movies--$14---Amazon.com

Oooh, Punisher. I was looking for something in that price range to pick up with The Kooks CD for free shipping.

Thanks!

Just FYI, I think I read that Total Recall and maybe one or two of the other movies are getting re-released early next year with better quality transfers.

Thanks for the heads up! Might have to keep it sealed for a few months just in case
is the punisher the extended cut that came out last year?
No, it's not. So far the only super hero extended cut has been Spider-Man 2.1 in the boxset. Fantastic Four needs to be re-released as well.

that sucks ass....you pay the extra money you should be entitled to the extended cut. The punisher extended cut made a good movie much better.

The transfer for Total Recall is subpar and not worth the extra money if you have the special edition DVD. I've compared the two and the difference is barely noticeable. I would wait if there is going to be a re-release of better quality.

Has anyone come across a good site that compares the dvd release to the hd-dvd/blu-ray version?

I'm pretty much just buying hd versions of movies I don't have. If the DVD release has a nice transfer, I just can't see myself double dipping but it would be nice to see and read about the comparisons.

I use High Def Digest. I'm not sure if this is what you're asking for, but I go there daily.
