Bluetooth Question for PC and Cell Phone

tenzor

CAGiversary!
Ok heres my dilema, as a pre-order bonus for 24 the game I got a free mobile download for the 24 mobile game. Now I would love to play this game, but my only problem is that the game requires me to log on with my internet on my phone to download it for free. Only problem is I don't have internet on my phone, and don't plan on getting it since I would barley use it.

My question is, if I have a bluetooth USB adapter that I can connect to my computer. Will that allow me to connect my bluetooth enable phone to use the internet through my pc from the bluetooth adapter? Or if anyone could think of another way it would be helpful. Otherwise I will just have to save the day on the PS2, and not my mobile phone also

Also since we are on the subject about bluetooth adapters, can someone explain to me what it really does? I got a bluetooth adapter as a gift for xmas, but I have yet to open it so I want to know what it can do.

You won't be able to connect through bluetooth to download the game onto your phone. The way that Bluetooth works with a PC connection is that you can connect to the internet using your wireless phone, but you can't connect the other way.

The only way that I could suggest is to call your carrier and let them know that you are interested in trying out internet access and see if they will throw in a month or two free. I know that I have done this and it has worked. You could also sign up for a month and cancel the next just pay a little some of money for the initial start of it.

Bluetooth adapters just allow you to transfer files from other devices that support with bluetooth, for example PC to PC, PC to Cell Phone, etc. I have a Bluetooth adapter hooked up to my Nokia phone, which I can sync and get my contacts, wallpapers, and even outlook. Hope that answers some of the questions.

thanks for the reply. I just realized also that my phone isn't even supported for the game download. I have a sony ericcson k750i, and the only models closest to mine is the K710. Oh well at least I still have 24 to watch on mondays, and I can still play the PS2 game :)
