I have in hand 160 80 and one 60 gb ps3s. 425 325 and 400 plus ship. ( I will find out exact cost of ship today and post). I know there maybe better deals out there but CAG has saved me boatloads of money so I figured I'd give back by giving you guys more options. The dell deal will end soon and y jump through hoops and magic rings to save money when u can have a legitimate quick transaction. I am a reputable seller ( my eBay name is justinrespress never had a negative feedback). Even though I've never sold on CAG I can not send out the system before payment. I'm sure u understand as this is not a 20 $ game but rather 400 and 500$ pieces of technology. Pm me and I will send u my email address and phone number to make u more comfortable. This is not a scam as I have been cheated before and I know how it feels. Please don't flame me. I know it's not a super must have now deal but it is still over 100$ off. If u are not interested or don't like the post please don't spam the thread. Again these are brand new factory sealed systems. Not refurb or used with a wiped hdd.
 
I'd recommend you only deal with high rated members until you, yourself, are reputable enough. No one's going to give you 300-500 bucks first with no feedback.
Chances are, if they have a trustworthy reputation and high i-trader score, you'll be safe. I think paying for full shipping first would be fair, and then they can send you the remaining amount once it's at their door in working condition.
Otherwise, your best bet is ebay or craigslist.

Not trying to thread crap, but with the scams going on, no one in their right mind will pay up front first, especially if they have a lot of feedback.

Pictures with proof they are you and you have them will go a long way.
Also not being afraid to give contact information will ease concerns as well.
Also deal with someone reputable.
 
The simple fact that you say you won't ship out until payment arrives is a red flag to some people that you're trying to pull a fast one. Not saying that you are, though you have no CAG trading feedback or much post history.

I'd really recommend either dealing with high feedback CAGs, or using an escrow service like this one:

Haha, a bit warm perhaps. But everyone has a good point. I'm not in need of a PS3 right now, but I hope you can get a deal struck somewhere and get some positive feedback for the trouble.
 
like I said in the original post I'm an honest guy just trying to get rid of things we don't need. If u don't wanna help me please don't waste my time and post. Ur entitled to ur opinion but how is it a reason to boy like me when someone accusses me of thieft and they have no idea who I am or what I'm about.
 
thats right...we dont know what you are about...so its hard to send first. Might want to revamp that, if not, you will be stuck with them or have to take them to ebay
 
How come the 60 gb costs more than the 80gb? Sorry if it's a noob question but I really don't know anything about ps3s, still interested though. And how old are these?
 
the 60gb can play ps2/1 games new ones can't play them at all

so a sealed 60gb is a rarity. I'd be interested in the 60, but I already caved and bought an 80.

Put it on craigslist( thanks Sparta) all my posts are done via my phone so I will post pics as soon as I get to a desktop
 
Glad to hear it.
I'd suggest trying to sell the other two on there as well. Shipping is a pain, and you'll get money at the same time, plus, usually what you want for it.

That really raises questions for me... 95% of CAGer's are reputable people who know how bad getting shafted would be, and are 100% okay with working something out, but... Your hesitation to take a decent deal to ensure a good turn out for both ends makes me feel like you might not have much luck selling em here. Take em to Craigslist.
 
95%? I highly doubt that seeing the number of people getting scammed and people bragging about return fraud. Even if it was 95 % the other 5% would be foaming at the mouth with the prospect of getting a 500 machine for free. It's not a video game.
 
I would close this thread; you've pretty much outright admitted you're just here to scam people. You're just mad because you got caught. :p
 
please explain to me how I've admitted to trying to scam people. I've been here a year and I recognize the angst that scammers cause. You have no basis to accuse me of being a scammer. All you've done is antagonise. Like the original post says I've never had a negative feedback on eBay and I am willing to give my personal info to someone who pms me.your reason for disbelieving me was there were no pics. I've posted pics like asked and u continue to try to bash me

Well, first of all, calling someone a douche in the first page is not a good way to start a good reputation. Secondly, your grammar is horrible and I swear you sound like an 8 year old. If your trying to sell a 400-500 dollars machine to someone, atleast try to sound professional.

I was actually thinking on buy the 80 gig, but now it just seems like your either a scam or a douchebag; neither which are a good if your thinking of selling something to a person. Congratulations; it normally takes more than 3 pages to turn into a troll. You did it in 2.:applause:

I will try this once more. My eBay name is justinrespress. Check my feedbacks. Check what I've sold. Rockband, iPhone. Expensive stuff and every buyers was more than satisfied with their purchase. It is easy to proclaim someone is a scammer but CAG doesn't do a good job at consoling those who have been cheated at chances are that's what I would be if I ship out a playstation with zero colateral. Half before ship and half after arrival is unreasonable?

Honestly, you're probably not going to find a buyer on here who's willing to risk their money. Try selling to someone with high feedback and ship first. You'd be taking a very small risk because they have a reputation on here. Why should someone with great feedback have to risk their money against your unestablished reputation?

Ebay is fine to reference, but don't expect it to come anywhere close to CAG reputation.

Nobody initially called you a liar or scammer. They hinted that these seemed a little too good to be true, with no pictures and nothing but your word. Somebody's word only goes so far... Proof helps, but being open to trying something else is good, as well... I think that Shrike (I am sorry if he wasn't the one to say this) had a good idea with the buyer paying for shipping and then once they recieved the unit and saw it worked fine, pay the rest. It might sound bad, but chances are helping out others like that will make a trader sound a bunch better after a sucessful deal like that...

I understand, you don't want to risk getting ripped off, but it's okay for the other person to take the risk. I mean it's only $400 dollars of hard work.

You might get someone to send first by using paypal and by giving the person your home phone number, address, and other important details about you. There just happens to be a lot of scamming going around lately plus most people wouldn't consider sending $400 bucks to someone with no reputation.
 
I think if legit information is given and proven, as well as pics shown, and maybe only half payment first or possibly a bit less on paypal, I think it would be fair.
 
im not very technology savy so i just posted the link. i reiterate im willin to pass along any personal information (cell #, address, etc) to someone interested but im not just going to post it
