BreakDown

I figure a lot of us have bought breakdown becuase of the target deal, and since there is no faq for this game, i was wondering if maybe one of you guys could help me out. What do i need to do to get out teh the "blown up"room. I have moved an I-beam which caused some ruble to fall. And I can climb that, but i just don't know where to go from there.

once you jump up the newly fallin' wall, turn to the right. Next to the door that is blocked there is a piece of fallen wall that you can crawl under. Crawl under it and just follow the path. I know it's not a good description but hopefully it will help you out.

is this game even any good? i read mixed reviews so far, and i'm still hesitant even after seeing the $20 target deal.

Definately worth the $20. I bought it for $20 and beat it yesterday and I am so glad I got it. I really enjoyed it and thought it was much more fun that some reviews say. The trick is to get the fighting system down and know when it is appropriate to whip out the guns. Otherwise, prepare for one frustrating experience. It reminded me of Ninja Gaiden where it was hard as all get out, but one you learned to block continuously and memorize combos the game became amazing. Hope this helps!

I'm stuck on the part where you are at some botanical center looking for Glenn and this chopper is following you plus you have soldiers shooting at you and what not...its starting to piss me off...any ideas?
thanks for the help sprsayian, thats twice you've helped me out
No problem...I always try to help a fellow gamer if I have the answer.

Yeah this part was a huge pain. My best suggestion is to not try and take down everyone. Kill the soldiers in your way as you move, take cover from the choppers fire by hiding behind pillars and in safe areas, stay on the move to avoid its rockets as well, and block..A LOT (you can block some of the chopper's gunfire too). Do all these things to the best of your ability and follow the path through the garden (I think you'll pass through like 2 or 3 fences) and eventually you'll end up safe at some double glass doors. Hope that all helps you out.

I'm still stuck in the damn room with all the fire. I get to the two T'lan, kill them, but die because I stood up too long and died from all the smoke.

Once you kill the two T'lan, jump the fire and follow the paths around the big room, you should find a gas mask somehwere around there (sorry I can't recall the exact location)...then you can enter the area with all the smoke with no problems.

been there and bitched about that. lol.

It's certainly challenging no doubts there, but I like that in a game. Plus, I enjoy its somewhat revolutionary gameplay (flawed, though it may be sometimes), I also think thats why it got some good marks from reviewers.

this game freaking rules. i just finished it. For those out there debating the buy, go out and get it. The stroy is great, and once you get a hang of the combat system the game just becomes a freeform work of art. i cant wait for the sequel.
