I found a complete and good-condition Breath of Fire IV today at Gamerush for $7. Is this game worth anything, and if so, what would be a good asking/target price?

It's not worth an incredible amount (probably $15 in good condition). But GR still has buy 5 PS1 games for $15, so if you can find 4 more games that you are interested in, it becomes one heck of a deal.

Even at $7 dollars that's one hell of a deal.

You'll pay double and maybe triple that trying to score one off Ebay.

if its complete RUN AND BUY IT. you will get your 7 back in a second on ebay (probally more like 15-25)

I got it complete off ebay for 15 4 months back. Seen some top 30

Man, I still stuck at the forest area. I can't seem to find a way out. oh yeah, great game! I still think bof3 is better. I paid $19 for it from ebay several months ago.

I picked this game up during the 3 for 15 at GameCrazy. Guess I'll hang on to it for awhile.

Yeah I already bought it. I do the return dance if something isn't worth jack.

And there really wasn't anything else worth getting in the PS1 stack, besides a complete Parasite Eve. But I already have two copies of that, so I figured I'd leave it for someone else who actually wants to play it.

Hmm...this reminds me that I have a sealed copy in my closet. I snagged it for about $20 on eBay two years ago, and haven't really had the time or desire to try it yet. Maybe I'll sell it and get a used copy instead.

I just sold my sealed copy of number III that I got during the famous CC $5 sale last summer for $45...I'm not the type to open up games this old, I'll just find a mint used copy to actually play for a fraction of that. :) I was actually afraid the value would plummit since BOF III has been announced for the PSP.

I did not know that. It's kind of strange that they'd port the third one--everything I've heard said that IV was much, much better. I really liked III, but it got pretty slow and tedious.

IV is such an awesome, awesome game. It has its own feel to it unlike any other game I've played. It is also way better than 3 or any other game in the series.

She is so right. BoF4 is handsdown the BEST game in the series, and to me it's one of my top favorite RPGs (it kicks the ass of many Final Fantasy's).

Guess I should play it then. The disc has a ton of light scratches on it like someone used a paper towel to wipe it off, but it runs OK as far as I can tell.

Here goes nothing.

Well, since they ported 1 and 2 to the GBA, I guess this was the next logical step. I'm SURE they will be happy to milk everybody for number 4 at some point in the future. This is Capcom we're talking about! ;)

And I will be more than willing to pay $50 + the cost of a PSP for it. ;)

Heheh. I did buy the GBA ports of Breath of Fire since complete copies of the SNES versions are expensive and I can play them on my TV with the Game Boy Player, but I don't think I'll be plunking down the cash for the PSP ports. I already have the PSX versions and I'd rather play them on the big screen.

The Breath of Fire series is great. If they announce that BoFIII remake for the US, I'll definitely pick up a PSP. In any case, nice deal on BoFIV OP.

I thought they did announce it for the US? Maybe not...I guess they haven't officially announced Tales of Eternia AKA Tales of Destiny II yet for the US either. But again, I have the PSX version of TOD2 already so I'm just a curious bystander.

I think it's only been announced for a JP release at this point in time. I don't see why they wouldn't release it here in the States though.
