Why would they even bring something like this out. I mean it looks like it would just pass as a PS1 game but to bring out this piece of crap for the ps2 it just hurts the horse racing market.. for those who wonder why the next gallop racer game wont come out well you can blame this game...

I'm kind of interested to see how it is since it is the only game of this type for Xbox. It's a bargain-priced game at $19.99, so if it's fun, I'm glad that they put it out.

i rented it off gamefly got it last night going back in the mail today after 15 mins.. i would rather play gallop racer for the ps1 before this. very bad graphics and the interface looks like something from the Nes days
So which is the most fun horse racing sim for PS2/1? I've always wondered if it was worth searchin for them...
i found gallop racer ps1 the most eaiser game to get started and winning.....

then i liked

Gallop racer 2003
gallop racer 2001
gallop racer 2004

i think 2004 is the hardest one out of any of them to play.

Well my Fry's had a G1 Jockey 2003 for $40, but I'm not THAT curious ;). The only horse racing game I've ever played is that one Namco arcade game...Final Furlong? Was that it? Hahaha, exhausting stuff...

keep and eye at ebgames. they have them for 10 bucks before coupon used... G1 was an okay game (its where you was a jockey and rode horses for other people ,,, i dont think you could breed them or anything like Gallop racer)

G1 also i think is the only game that has the steelechase game in it what is sort of cool since it was something new...

I have a question... do any of these Horse racing games include betting on the horses?

I could care less about breeding and training horses, but a hundred years ago, I had this game for the C64 called Omni Play Horseracing, and it was all about betting the ponies, handicapping, reading race results, analyzing horse performance in various race lengths and weather conditions, etc. Then after plaing your bets you just kinda watched the race. But it was a GREAT party game, thats the kinda thing Im looking for in a horse game, Im not into animal husbandry, lol.
