Bring back original platinum hits art?

Did anyone else enjoy the Platinum Hits artwork for the orginal xbox? My friend and I actually enjoyed them more than the orginal art boxes. I really do hate the new design because it makes the games look like they're supposed to be in a bargain bin for pirated classic hits PC games at Big Lots. Just wondering if anyone else had similar thoughts.

(Of course it's not as bad as the Castlevania DS reprint, but it's not that far off)
 
Amen. The new cases are hella ghetto looking. I'd actually prefer that they just put the platinum hits games in silver cases but keep everything else the same. Maybe have a very small platinum hits logo on the booklet and cover so that there was no confusion as to whcih version it was.
 
yea, saw them early today at best buy and it completely ruins the box art. not as bad as the konami DS greatest hits art, but close.
 
i dont think id say that i prefer them over the original xbox cases, but i certainly prefer the xbox PH over the 360 PH...
 
I am going to make a point to get the original box than the PH version. The GameCube Player's Choice did not bother me because it was a yellow line on the top with the words on it, but with everything else the same. The old Xbox PH were not that bad either.

Stupid Microsoft or whoever decided on this.
 
No. I did not enjoy the original artwork. I fucking hated it. However, it's awfulness pales in comparison to the utter horse shit that is X360 Platinum Hits.

Why can't they just print the "Platinum Hits" junk all over the outside of the plastic-wrap???
