Brothers in Arms 360/ps3 12.99 free shipping

I started the PS3 version what seems like ages ago but got distracted away from it.

I did see enough to dub it an interesting alternative to more twitchy, CoD-type shooters. Rushing headlong into battles against machinegun nests and the like will get you killed, no matter how good you are at aiming. It's all about flanking and suppressing. I had fun with it, I'll probably pick it back up and finish it soon.

Ugh I wouldn't recommend it for that much.. I got it for $20 a couple of months ago and I couldnt bear playing it... with so many better games out there I had to force myself to finish it so I could feel as though my money wasn't wasted.

One of the most underrated games this gen. Definitely worth it at that price.

newegg cashback is at 2%... so you'll get another 0.26 cents back to if you bing it.. hey, every little bit counts lol... take that quarter to the video arcade for more gaming haha

I had these sub-$15 deals. I buy all of them and they all add up quickly.

I've grown bored with the CoD style FPS so I'm up for something new. Plus I can get it shipped to my dorm and not pay tax.

As someone else pointed out, the thing I really liked about this game was that is was more "realistic" than most shooters out there. You can't just run out into the open, spray bullets, and hope to survive again a half-dozen soldiers. You need to use cover and use your squadmates. It's less like an action hero movie and more like a war movie going for an authentic feel.

Aye, the supression system is BRILLIANT. I really wish more games would rip it off since it is such a great gameplay innovation to such a tired genre.

One thing, prospective buyers will want to research the previous games' storyline before starting this as it's continued DIRECTLY from the last one. I was a bit lost as to what was going on at first, as it doesn't give you much of a recap before starting.

In for one from Goozex. They've been asking me to take my request off hold for weeks. 250 pts is more than affordable for me.

Agreed. Fantastic game.

Multiplatform games typically look better on the 360. Most people agree the 360 controller is better for FPS, too.

Just go with the one whose controller you like more.

Ordered. Sweet. I've been wanting this game for a while but have been waiting to score it super cheap.

Plus I was very impressed with Gearbox with Borderlands.
Can anyone say how the multiplayer is on this?
Some of the worst currently available on the 360 lol.

This is definitely a single player campaign-type of game. I think multiplayer was an afterthought they did in about 22 minutes before they shipped the game out.

Not to steal the thunder of the OP but check with BB they have had the C.E. on clerance for at least 2 months for 17.50
