i bought a size 0 bubble mailer to ship a game out and think it may be too small to ship the game in (it barely fits i have to really squeeze it in(to the envelope) what do you guys think should it be ok?

You should be fine. Just make sure you put the game in slowly/gently so as not to tear the mailer.

I'm not entirely certain which forum this should go in, but hopefully you won't get too much flak. ;)

Yeah just ease it in nice and slow. You don't want any tearing or pain for her..I mean uh the mailer. But yeah I use #0's for games and dvds and I think it's #2 for multiple games and larger things.

EDIT: oh yeah I use JiffyLite, others might run a bit larger or smaller for sizes.

#0 is for single DVD or Game

#1 two DVD's/Games or for larger limited edition cases

I use # 1 for everything just because I bought them in bulk and I don't necessarily need more than 100 mailers in my house at one time. =)

I was thinking of buying a bunch of #1s from Ebay instead of #0s as they're almost always an extremely tight fit.
I prefer a larger mailer than I need, so that I can put a little extra packing material in there.
That usually seems unnecessary to me... bubble mailers work just fine for most hard plastic cased games (PS2/3, GC, Wii, DS, etc.) and I just use boxes for cardboard boxed (GBA, SNES, etc.) games. The only time I use extra packing is for guides- I sandwich them between pieces of cardboard before I stick them in bubble mailers.

Well, to each his own, suppose. Mailers are too flimsy for my taste, which is why I generally prefer putting my games in a flat rate envelope and wrapping them up in bubble wrap. You can get a couple of layers on each side. I only use mailers for odd things here and there. And obviously, please don't take this as me saying my way is right. I probably waste a few cents on the extra bubble wrap here and there. I would just prefer to avoid the one out of the million maniac who will complain.
