If people are willing to pay more than retail but less than eBay for a PS3 or a nintendo Wii, while making a contribution to charity, Clear Channel Radio is auctioning off one console of each over one hour each day through Christmas for Toys for Teens.

take a gander.

Winning bids have been coming in at about $750 - $850 for PS3s. not bad.
Umm, those aren't going for less than ebay.
True , but you probably have more of a chance of actually receiving the above ones. Under retail eBay auctions I doubt will be shipping out(for the most part)

I already gave all my Christmas charity money out, as I brought it all down to Homelessville.*

most sellers will refuse to sell their ps3s under retail. you HAVE to sell above retail to make a profit after all the fees, so they refuse sell it giving some obviously bullshiet excuse. it's pretty amazing how many people will be stuck with ps3s simply because they tried to be capitalizing pigs.

The Wii is getting 800....wow...

I seriously hope the Wii hype dies down....as a current 360 owner and future PS3 owner...I don't understand how a console that is more readily available is getting 4x profit.
