buying a game on craigslist

I found a guy who was willing to accept my offer of $25 for Rayman origins for the vita. :bouncy: I was going to get it off gohastings for about $28, but it's out of stock. Should I wait for another sale, should I have made a lower offer, or is this a fair deal?

Also this is my first time buying anything off CL. Any advice for setting up the meeting? I've heard stories of people getting scammed, mugged, and more. So I feel a bit nervous.:whistle2:#
 
Meet in a public place, preferably with cameras. I usually do like a Target parking lot since most are monitored by cameras. Go in the daytime, and bring a friend.
 
Alright thanks, I thought I'd have to go to his house or something. I never learned the CL's do's and don'ts haha. I asked another guy if the online pass was unredeemed for his game, and he accused me of trying to steal his code without buying the game. o.o

Holy the seller told me where he lives, and it's 30 mi. away. Should I just back out? I might be better off buying rayman new because of gas

You know , if it was me id buy from some one else or preferably a store. a) its not like your getting a killer deal. B) you will be using gas as you say C) this guy sounds like a jerk accusing you of trying to steal his code when your just asking a good question. Hope it helps. As for craigslist you never know, i have had luck and met with some cool people buying and selling stuff but theres always a chance of getting a scumbag
 
WHAT THE amazon just ate my $5 GC.
I inserted the code on the page where you add payment info and it just reloaded the page and no discount appeared. I tried submitting it again on the page w/ the place order button and now it says its invalid!

who do I needa talk to about this?!!? I'm pretty sure the bing rewards GC was legit!

Amazon gift cards apply to a balance on the Amazon site. Once you go through checkout, you will then see it taken off. If not, then I would go into "Your Account" and look for the "View Gift Card Balance" link or something like it.
