Buying at one store for cheap and returning at another for store credit

I'm sorry if this is in the worng forum, but I didn't know where to post a topic like this.

This is kind of like bying something at EB games and trading the game in at FYE, but instead I was wondering if anyone has bought a NEW game and returned it at some place like Wal-Mart or some other B&M store for more than what they paid for it. Then used the store credit to get other games that they actuall want?

I mean doesn't a store like Wal-mart take returns without a receipt and give you store credit as long as it'ssomething they sell?

Yeah Wal-Mart will do that as long as it is sealed.

I was wondering if there were any stores that allowed this also. I have some Metroid Primes sealed the I don't want at all.

Guys, please don't discuss this on this site. Buying new games at a store and returning them to stores for credit w/o a reciept is scamming them. Thanks.
