Cable/Internet - feedback wanted

I currently have Comcast internet and cable

cable w/o dvr - 58.98
internet - 42.95

$101.83 a month..

i can't switch to FiOS yet because it's not available in my area..

I was looking at DishTv's setup online and I could get:
cable with dvr - 55.99

but the big struggle is the internet...i guess i could go dsl.. it's cheaper.. but it is slower.. any help would be appreciated..

my purpose is to see if it was viable to get rid of comcast.. and go with something cheaper but pretty close to the speed of comcast..

i wasn't sure how fast DSL speeds are in my area.. and I have never had DSL before.

I have roadrunner I think its like 50 bucks a month and its really fast.
