Cag front page posts filter?

I am probably not the only person here who feels this way, but I only come to CAG to find deals and share them. Back in the day I would take a peek at the front page and along with the major posted deals, the latest forum threads would be full of deals and requests as well. Time has passed and some cliques around here have been made. Now unfortunately, to get to deals I sometimes have to look at totally off topic posts from BigNick, Banky and Punqsux talking about those famous twin blonde idiots. Not to mention MANIMALS 5 times daily "I NEED THIS GAME NOW!!! TRADE GOOOOD!" No offense to them at all, I have no problem with that stuff. But why dont we filter the latest forum posts by having only the deal requests and deals show up on the front page?
 
well....on the recent forum posts it shows (i believe)the most recently posted threads. I have no problems with people using CAG for making deals but they do sometimes clutter the top 10 threads for casual readers.
 
Don't be so lazy. If you just want deals, is it really that much harder to go to the forums and only look at the deal forum?

anyways, fltering the off topic stuff would be lame, thats 90% of the reason im here, is for entertainment. the people here are fun to discuss things with.

i get maybe 1 or 2 deals a month from cag. and i get alot more laughs.
 
i do agree with jimbodan...bookmark the main listing in the deals forum and you should be all set....the main page isn't updated too often so it should be all good.

Same here.
 
i try to jump on as many deals as I can...i love videogames but this board is pretty damn good. I've kinda jumped around on many message boards and this one is really the only steady one I check any longer.

Agreed.
 
I understand your point, but I have my reasons for keeping things the way they are.

FYI, there is a quick link to the gaming deals forum if you click on the Cheap Ass Deals in the front page drop down menu.
