CAG Warhawk Night [TBD]

I wish there was a bot mode to get used to flying. It isn't much fun dying every few minutes.


And I'm sure it's been asked before, but do most CAGs use sixaxis or stick controls while flying?

Hahah don't feel too bad about it. I've been playing for a few months and mostly still just get blown up especially in a Warhawk, in a tank, in a jeep, on foot....

Lol, I got only imagine what it will be like when I try out Call of Duty 4 tomorrow.

I swore up and down I'd try sixaxis, but I'm still on stick, and not doing as bad as before either.

Are CAG nights only on Fridays? Or how often are there Saturday/Sunday matches. Normally I can't play on Friday.

Call of Duty will probably be pretty hard, but for some reason Warhawk was just brutal on me.

With me handling them too soon (CoD4 nights), I plan to alternate them around a little.

When reading the blog closer, the Home Integrations seems interesting. Since I have a PSP (two of them), I should have no problems with it. You all can meet at my place.

Since Pootie_Thang has pretty much ceased to lead the COD clan, the schedule has changed to everyday at 9pm. There is not set schedule or leader, so moving Warhwak to a Saturday or at least alternating it should be fairly easy.

I plan to get it more organized again.
 
i don't know if it's scheduled currently. i just play with anyone i see online when i play. and theres usually always someone.

but games are limited to who has who on their friends list. everyone needs a link to the group.

Well, I'm out of commission from WH nights for about a month. My PS3 died on me yesterday, the red power light just won't turn on. I will be getting a coffin to send my dead unit back to Sony soon, but in the meantime :cry:

Yeah I played in the game for one or two rounds..I just got warhawk a few days ago and dont have any friends on my psn list that play warhawk, so I would like to join the clan...

I will get around to updating the clan a little. Unfortunately, I gotta be careful because the limit is 64 people, so only join the clan if you are very serious (this is to everyone).
 
Great matches everyone. Had a blast playing. One thing that bothered me was a few times the teams were completely uneven. Anyway getting the hang of the game a little better now and hopefully I can play this week also. Thanks
 
If Warhawk nights could be moved to Saturday that would be great. I can never play on Fridays.

Right now I'm learning towards Friday night (keeping CoD4 for Saturday), but the next week, I'd promise to swap the days. My goal is to make both games successful.

Btw, once I get on my PS3 later today, I plan to add more to the clan and update the status of its members.
 
Whats wrong with having Warhawk night on Sunday night instead of Friday? I think most people when given the choice are going to go out with their friends rather than stay at home and play Warhawk.

Anyway, the main reason I don't play on those types of nights is people on EST have to go to bed early for work/school the next day. Some people on PST, around dinner time is not a good time. Also, Sunday tends to be the "Do your homework day", so that's why. I have tried Sunday night for some games and it was very unsuccessful.

Some people might not be able to stay up late on Sunday due to work.

I'm the one who can currently host the most (20 people) when I'm at my parents house on some weekends. The reason we don't have multiple is because the Warhawk community at CAG isn't really big enough for multiple days (at most, two days a week would be plenty). We tried having two nights before, but doesn't really work.
 
I should be on soon I'm going to try to get my wife to play also but, she is watching house/putting the baby to sleep and I'm trying to finish my homework.
 
I want to thank everyone who showed up. Warhawk night started off pretty slow, but really picked up later on. I realized that many people don't seem to show up until 10pm EST; therefore, the next time I host, I plan to push Warhawk night to 10pm EST, and still play the 8 games. One reason I continued was because I wanted to see how many were willing to stay and most did.

Not 100% certain of Warhawk next week, but in two weeks it's a guarantee (since I'll be hosting).

To whomever I team killed. That was a one in a million shot.
I tried to shoot the turret and a teammate's warhawk few right in front of me right after I fired the TOW missile (all I had on board).
 
Great games, guys. I'm glad to see that they're getting pretty big compared to when Warhawk nights first started.

I can't believe Freeky sniped me out of a plane. :bomb::bomb::bomb:
 
This was my first warhawk night and it was definitely a lot more fun than I usually have with the game. kudos. gg everyone.

I couldn't believe it myself, lol! I was just shooting, since that was the only weapon worth shooting at the moment that could save my ass from dying. Truly a lucky shot. :D

Is the bandwidth checker thing inside warhawk accurate when it comes to figuring out how many player you can host?

I went to create a game just to see what it would say for me and it put 24 as the max players.
