Anyone interested in pooling peices to win?

The way I see it is that we could pool them on a chart, and then when two or three people come up with the combo to win a prize, mail them all to one person, he/she redeems the prize and then they all split it two or three ways.(depending on how many people pooled stamps)

Anyone interested in this? I can make a nice pretty chart and update it in Photoshop.

This isn't a bad idea. The only thing is that, if this article is to be believed, then some contributors would necessarily be making much more valuable contributions than others.

It's pretty much the truth. Read the rules, all pieces are not created equally, hence the reason everyone doesn't win. Sharing pieces won't help, whoever gets the one rare piece can get the rest easily, all this thread will be is a lot of people with the rest holding onto some false hope that someone will come along with the uber-rare piece.

i dont know why people think this will work every year... This idea will never work..

say the grand prize is 1 million dollars.... noone is going to give you 500,000 bucks for a common piece that they could pick up off ebay dirt cheap (they would even pay 10,000 for the piece before spliting the cash)

noone is ever going to sell you or agree to split a prize..and if someone does its going to be a FAKE PIECE.. anyone remember years ago people were selling the boardwalk piece... Demanding cash only for like 500 bucks... They just took the mcdonalds monopoly board flyer.. copied it and cut out the boardwalk piece.... tons of people got #$#$#$#

and with mcdonalds contest being nothng but crap anymore i doubt you will find as many people playing.. This is the 2nd year i did not send away for any pieces and dont even buy the pieces wheen i go to mcdonalds

this is true, anyone who gets broadwalk could easily just spend $50 probably less to find a park place. 1 person 1 rare piece no need to share it with someone who doesn't really deserve it.

Hey, don't flame the fella because he had a bad idea :p Seriously, it was a nice thought, but the reasons it won't work are already listed above.

I have alternative ideas though (to save the thread!):

How about someone just posts the rare pieces from a website

Or (admittedly, this may not work either) we can PM online codes, and if a winner comes, we can randomly raffle the prize or split it evenly.

wait how does this work at all

ok a have two park place spaces is that good
