CAGcast #124: Karmic Vomit

LOL!!! Good on the new language lesson from Cheapyd. Now we can include BLAH!! to the list of words valid on any language (but not in japanese!).

To the geeks out there, please explain to me why "The Big Bang Theory" is so popular. What would you prefer, watching Xbox Inside as narrated by THE BROAD, or THE GANG?!? I stay with the double dragons anytime.

Great show. Personally, the best of all I have heard.

P.S. Cheapyd, please explain to the PSFanboys out there how Mazinger, the Gundam robots and Voltus V kicked Solid Snake's butt in Japan.
 
Just to add on Ryoga's comment, Wombat, Thor can only compare to Hulk if he achieves "Berserker Rage". Even so, as Hulk keeps increasing in strenght, he can still punch Thor as far away as he wants to.
 
It's too bad that there might not be a new cagcast this week what with the site redesign and wombat having a kid. I'm just guessing though and I'm sure Cheapy can realize how important it would be to get all the new viewers of the site inducted into the club with a brand new episode. Then, you've got them hooked for life.
 
Cheapy, I completely agree that it would be better and preferred that video game hosts and journalists are only people that we can respect as gamers, male or female. I'd say that a lot of the popular female hosts and figureheads of gaming are merely just above beer models, or at least have producers that portray them as such. I like to see knowledgeable hosts, ones who game, like Natalie Sousa on XBL Pick Up & Play and our own Mrs. Shipwreck.

On a grander scale, these hostesses who are tarted up for adolescent titillation limit the gaming community's appeal. It promotes gaming to be viewed as a men's-only affair, and worse, it helps perpetuate the idea that gaming is not for adults. We gamers should push for hosts of either gender that are gamers themselves.
