Yep, I bought Phoenix Wright 2.

In fact, looking at what I've bought so far this year Capcom has mad a good chunk of change from me.

Lost Planet - check
Phoenix Wright 2 - check
PowerStone Collection - check

If they gave copies of Capcom Puzzle World for prizes, well, I just might buy that as well.
 
I preordered it directly from Capcom (no thanks to them, I didn't even get it on time). However, when I received the game, I played it non-stop until I finished.

Needless to say, I can't wait for the third and fourth installments.

Love those phoenix wright games, and SF2 on XBLA, and Lost Planet..
 
I'll buy it when it is cheaper. I like adventure games but not too often and I just got done playing Hotel Dusk. Also a lot of people bought the Japanese version which had English and most likely put a small dent in sales.

As for the Capcom, they quickly became my favorite developer of 2006, and are well on their way to taking over 2007 (if they continue to offer brilliant and original gameplay like they did in 2006).

Okami, Dead Rising, Lost Planet (I know Lost Planet is 2007, but bear with me) all had huge things to do with my decision, but also a game called Phoenix Wright 2 really swayed my vote. If it weren't for the CAGcast, I would have NEVER heard of this brilliant game, and while I have yet to find a DS Lite in stock, and purchase one, I've coerced three of my DS-owning friends into buy a version of the game, and I've played nearly through the first, just on my friends' DS's.

I'd say, for me, the CAGcast was a HUGE component in my newfound fandom for all things Capcom.
 
I picked up the second one the day it came out. If I win one though, I'll give it to my friend who hasn't tried the game yet.
 
Pre-ordered it, got it and the stylus the moment it shipped into my local GameStop, and played it almost non-stop for 3 days.

I don't have a DS, so I'm not interested in PW. If they offered some PSP stuff (Mega Man games, Powerstone Collection), I'd be more interested.

If this is some kind of Sally Field thing for Capcom, then yes guys, I really, really like you. I have Dead Rising, Okami, and other games like most of the SF series for multiple platforms, pumped hundreds of quarters into your arcade games, and have quite a few tchotchkes (sp) like action figures and art books.

And Frisky, Virtua Tennis is a Sega game.
 
I bought Phoenix Wright 2 when it came out, as well as Lost Planet. I would've bought Dead Rising too if the text was readable on my SDTV.

I friggin loved the first game. I'm too poor to get the second right now (here's hoping for the CAG Cast contest to end in my favor :)) but I definitely plan on owning it in the near future.
 
Can't buy it because I have yet to find a video game store that sells legitimate copies of video games in Indonesia. Actually, I take that back. I found one place but they only had REALLY old titles.
 
I bought Phoenix Wright 1 soley based on the recommendations of Cheapy and Wombat in the CAGcast. I will likely buy the second one after I beat the first, but I was also waiting on the constest results (I entered for PW2 every week).
 
I think it's great that Capcom has considered the value of CAGcast and cheapassgamer.com to the gaming community. Giving away a couple free games is waaaay better advertising than some banner ad.
 
I purchased this game both because of CAG hype and because I liked the first one. That said, I trust the opinons of Wombat and CheapyD far more than most reviewers since I know they're not getting paid off.
 
I've got the first one, and love it. I'm holding off on the second one, because I'm clinging to the false hope that I may actually win something in the CAGcast contest.
