Call of Duty: Black Ops Amazon Preorder Bonus

I recall seeing on the internet that Amazon had begun to offer a $20 videogame credit with their preorders of Black Ops.

However, upon going to the page for the game, there is no mention of said bonus credit.

Was the offer rescinded, or is something else going on?

I think you gotta jump when you see it. They seem to go off and on all the time the same thing happened with the madden. I look at it like u snooze u lose but it is hard when you are trying to manuver you previous credits or credits coming in EX: say Halo

Existing preorders will get it (or else their call center will be flooded with angry phone calls). Orders placed after they yanked the promotion will probably not.

Seems wal-mart has pulled theirs too. Funny how sites will do the gc bonus if another site is doing it and then pull it if another site does.

I wouldn't worry toooo much, because come closer to the release date I venture to guess that both deals will pop up again. Halo Reach is probably on the minds of Amazon and Walmart right now.

Yeah I remember buying MW2 on launch at Best Buy and getting a $20 or $25 giftcard, and Amazon is sure to match if it goes down again. I'm sure it will too. They're bound to sell billions of copies no matter what, so retailers will jockey on these big releases to make sure you buy it from them and not someone else.
