Calling all Saturn modders!

I am looking to get my saturn modded, but I am not skilled with a solder iron. Can anyone here mod my saturn for me? I prefer to have someone in the Buffalo, NY area do this, but anyone in the US is eligible. I will NOT ship my saturn internationally, only within the US. Please give me a price, or I can trade you for your services. My tradelist is

The suffering Xbox
Manhunt Xbox
Dark Savior Saturn (Cracked Case)
Nights Saturn Unoriginal case, no book
Virtua Fighter 2, Virtua Cop, and Daytona USA 3pak (Box is a bit beat up)

I have paypal.

What exactly are you modding it for? If it's just for imports them your probably best off with a 4-in-1/5-in-1 cart.

modding a saturn to play backups is really hard, not so much the mod, but getting backups that will work, thats hard. sega encoded saturn cds really well and the outter ring of a saturn disc is hard to duplicate.

ive read about the probelms people have with these things, so i hope youre going for imports ^^

Who cares why I am doing it. Maybe I want to play homebrew games or maybe I want to play backups of discs that I own. Besides you can't play imports with a mod, only backups.

Proves how much you know about it then.....you can play imports with a modchip installed.

Only with a "Import MOD" dumbass...

if you mod it for CD-R... it still needs an action replay. Next time dont open your mouth unless you know something for real or I unzip my pants.

Welcome to flavor country fool.

LOL. And I think they care because modding in general here is a no-no, especially for pirating. I myself am trying to find a cheapass way to play imports. There's got to be something better than a $30 action replay.

Actually you're wrong, there are programs available that change the region coding of the game files once you get them on your computer.

Yea, but thats not a "Single Mod-chip" that allows CD-r backed up games and Imports at the same time, which was the arguement. What you can do on your computer is irrelevent.

All I'm saying is that that statement is incorrect. If you mod your Saturn for CD-R's you do not HAVE to have an action replay to play imports, there are other ways such as downloading the game, changing the region and burning it. It will play fine with only a cd-r mod chip. You could also rip the game to your pc convert it and burn it to a cd-r.

The bottom line is that a Saturn modded with only the cd-r mod is perfectly capable of playing imports without using an action replay.

A Saturn Gameshark will allow you to play import games that don't require extra memory. I got mine off eBay last summer for around $5.

Well, yea you could do that... You could also buy a working dev kit from someone for a million bagillion dollars and make all the Dreamcast games for the sega saturn just to piss off Sega.

Then you could rip and burn them on your 50,000 dollar cd pressing machine and market them as the return of the saturn collection... if you ever wanted to play Shenmue on the saturn, nows your chance....

Then you put mind controlling anagrams flashing images that you cant see with the human eye that will cause people to kill their wives.

Hopefullly superman would want to play Sonic Adventure on the sega saturn cause then your would be able to control him as well.

By my estimations, a berserk superman could kill around 1 million people every 16 and 1/2 days if he were to kill them all one by one in the streets of New York. Concidering he would have to eat, shit and sleep.

Then, you could use him to build you a space station in space where you could live the rest of your like as your berserk superman would slowly kill everyone on the planet one at a time.

Hopefully klingons dont come to inspect uranus and you end up face down on a klingon warrior tskopthy coffee table as general worf proceeds to slowly work you over in your cinnamon ring with his Klingon Bloodsaber till your untimly death before superman hears your cries for help.

Yeeaaaaaaaahh............

With your imagination anything is possible.
