Can the lack of an X360 Hard drive cause games to freez?

I went to gamestop to return my used madden 07 cause it kept freezing the same thing happens when i play COD3 cause i am using a MU but i find this wierd iv taken care of my system to the fullest the guy at gamestop said that if i have a hard drive and i have too much stuff of it, it could cause my game to freeze but , will having a hard drive make my games work...? i know this is probably a noob question but im desperate please reply :lol:
 
You need to clear out the cache from time to time if you have the HD, otherwise, it causes some games to freeze. So... I don't get how not having a HD would cause this problem.
 
getting the premium package is always the better deal dude. (if you want ample amounts of saving space via the 20gb harddrive, great wireless controller, av/hd composite cable, ethernet cable, headset for voice capabilities, oh and also if you want the not needed but nice chrome finish)
 
Make sure you have plenty of space around your system and make sure your power supply brick is no where near your system as that can generate plenty of heat that might cause your system to freeze. Or move to the planet HOTH and you won't have to worry about overheating. (i think).

Also I know it sounds weird but make sure the ac outlet you have it pluged into is pulling the right amount of watage. I remember a guy buying different games and systems (dreamcast) and we kept checking them in the store and they worked fine and then one day an electrican friend of his checked out the outlet
and it wasn't supplying enough power. Maybe it was voltage not watage.
